I have just completed my inaugural fight, and it was swift and uncomplicated. As I approached the confrontation, I could detect my companion’s proximity, yet I refrained from looking to confirm his presence. I was indifferent to whether he was observing. Upon completion, I observed him. Our gazes met, and then he averted his eyes from me. It was painful. The pain was excruciating.
A portion of me desires to leave, yet the women’s matches are intensifying, and I must observe these competitors to understand the challenges I will face. Eventually, Serena and Elaine locate me and take a seat beside me. I am pleased to have the companionship. We are highlighting various attributes of distinct fighters for future reference in potential confrontations. Alpha Eric abruptly appears before me, requesting a private conversation.
I pursue him until we are isolated from the others. “I observed that I am not in conflict with Aniyah today,” I state.
He appears distressed. “No, all arrangements have been canceled.” Given all your efforts to assist, what motivated your actions? He enquires, exhibiting revulsion. My expression likely conveys confusion, as I am entirely unaware of the subject he is discussing.
“Alpha, what is your meaning?”He raises an eyebrow at me.
Aniyah informed me that you were engaging in a kiss with Cohen last night. You were aware that he was meant for Aniyah.
My jaw drops. “What?” Pause? I was aware that his name was Cohen, but I lacked knowledge of his surname or rank,” I elucidate.
“Were you unaware that you were kissing Alpha Cohen Foster?””
Holy shit. Alpha of The bloodfang Moon is my mate? “I assure you, Alpha, I had no idea who he was or what his title was. He is my companion. All I knew was that his name was Cohen. I was unaware of his pack affiliation. The events transpired rapidly, leading to his discovery of Alyssa, resulting in his subsequent disinterest. I apologise if I disrupted your plans. He shakes his head, stating, “No, his parents informed me during breakfast that a match would not be arranged.” Perhaps she is better off awaiting her partner. I will allow you to resume viewing the matches. He concludes with, “Make us proud.”
“I will exert my utmost effort.” As I return to the stands, I notice that Cohen is observing me. His face appears to contort in revulsion before he averts his gaze precisely what I required.

“I am concluding previous Alpha matters,” I state. I informed Serena earlier about the events of last night, and she expressed curiosity regarding him. “I discovered my friend’s name.” Cohen Foster. “He observed us,” Serena chuckles.
“I specified not concurrently!””
“Oh dear, he is exceptionally attractive!” Elaine remarks, “I was too preoccupied to observe last night.”
“He exists, yet he is not my possession, thus it is inconsequential!”I suggest altering the topic. Next, I observe Ruby, a young woman whom I have mentored over the past few months. She is summoning me and gesturing for me to approach. She is positioned directly in front of Cohen’s bleacher. I am reluctant to go there, yet I cannot decline her request. I hasten over. “Please coach me for this fight; she is significantly larger than I am,” she implores.
“Certainly.” I concur.
“Size is inconsequential.” You can achieve this. Understood?“I speak, and we exchange smiles.” The match commences, and Ruby’s adversary is likely a superior fighter; however, I will exert my utmost efforts to coach her. I am vociferously providing her with technical advice, such as “elevate that elbow, exert greater force, flex your knee.” All my suggestions are proving beneficial, as she has successfully lasted four minutes into the round. They are granted a one-minute respite now.
I seize Ruby, positioning her with her back to her adversary, while I stand before her, obscuring her view of our actions. I establish a mental connection with Ruby,
