The Love She Never Saw Coming – Chapter 91

Little

After Sam Noah showered and came out, breakfast had already been delivered. Thelma said to him, “This pancake is delicious.”

“You eat first; I have a few things to take care of.”

Thelma didn’t know what he was going out for, so she decided to wait until he returned to eat together.

Sam Noah went directly to Norah’s room. When Norah opened the door and saw him, she was momentarily stunned. She quickly crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow, “You came to my room so early? Aren’t you afraid your little wife will get angry?”

Sam Noah didn’t answer, expressionless as he walked in and closed the door. Norah couldn’t help but tease him, “Why close the door? What bad things are you planning to do this early?”

“Did you tell Thelma about our engagement?”

Norah knew he had come for this reason. She twirled a strand of hair around her finger, “What’s the big deal? Isn’t it the truth?”

“The truth? How does calling her a third party count?”

Norah shrugged and remained silent, looking at him sideways, as if to say, “What are you going to do about it?”

Sam Noah smiled slightly, grabbing her wrist and roughly pulling her into the bathroom.

“Sam Noah, what are you doing? Let go of me! You’re hurting my hand.”

Once in the bathroom, he released her wrist. Norah frowned and rubbed it, annoyed, “Why pull so hard?” After saying that, she leaned closer to him and asked, “What? Want to play bathroom games with me?”

Before her words could finish, Sam Noah twisted her arm behind her back. Norah winced in pain, and as he filled the sink with water, before she could react, he pushed her head into the water.

In her struggle, Norah choked on a few mouthfuls of water, the sensation of suffocation overwhelming her. She instinctively fought back, but her strength was no match for Sam Noah’s. He held her down firmly until she was about to lose consciousness before pulling her head up.

Norah leaned against the wall, coughing violently. She looked at Sam Noah, who stood there expressionless, cold as a butcher without feelings, looking terrifying.

“What are you doing? Are you crazy?” Her voice was hoarse, so her shout lacked any power.

Sam Noah reached out and grabbed her neck, showing no hesitation, applying great force, cutting off her breath completely.

Having just choked on water, she was already struggling, and now with him choking her, Norah felt like she was about to die. She struggled, hitting Sam Noah’s hand, her eyes wide with terror.

“You should know that your father chose to end his life to save you and your brother,” he said softly, but each word was as sharp as a knife. “I may have promised to spare your lives, but I’m not a good person. Even if I break my promise, I won’t fear the heavens’ wrath, so you’d better behave, understand?”

He never loosened his grip, showing no mercy. Norah, realizing the gravity of the situation, hurriedly nodded.

Only then did Sam Noah let her go. Norah fell to the ground, curling up in pain, watching Sam Noah’s indifferent back as he walked away, unwillingly saying, “What does she have that’s so good? You love her this much? You would threaten me for her?!”

He stopped, not looking back, and casually tossed over his shoulder, “Even if she has nothing, I still love her.”

“Does she know what kind of person you are, Sam Noah? Does she know the darkness in your world? You and I are from the same world; wake up, Sam Noah.”

This time, he didn’t stop or look back, and his figure quickly disappeared at the door.

Sam Noah returned to the room, only to find Thelma sitting on the sofa playing with her phone, hardly touching her food.

Sam Noah sat down across from her and asked, “Why aren’t you eating?”

Thelma put down her phone and placed her chopsticks in front of him, “It’s no fun eating alone.”

No fun eating alone, so she had been waiting for him? Sam Noah felt as if a small hand had gently stroked the softest part of his heart.

“Do you have any plans for today?”

“We could go for a walk nearby and buy some things.”

Thelma thought the same. She planned to buy some souvenirs to take back. Not far from the hotel was a small fishing village, which was also a tourist spot, filled with snacks and unique little shops.
