Once Tony Brown’s information was revealed, everyone was stunned, but Tony Brown had always been low-key, and there was very little information about him online.
While discussions about Tony Brown’s identity were rampant online, Tony Brown visited Nova. When he found the elder, the elder was bored, and they ended up playing chess together.
“Have you thought it over?” the elder asked, frowning.
“I have.”
The elder sighed, “You’re still young, with a bright future ahead. If you really transfer to Brackenfield, you’ll basically just be idle there.”
Tony Brown captured the elder’s knight with his cannon and smiled, saying, “I have dedicated my youthful passion and one eye to the country; now I just want to dedicate the rest of my life to my family.”
The elder didn’t want to pressure him too much; he couldn’t let a soldier who had spent half his life in the military feel disheartened.
“Alright, it’s all up to you.”
Thelma had already learned the news of Mira and Tony Brown’s marriage, and she was very happy for her; Mira had finally waited for the person she had always longed for.
When Tony Brown came to pick up Mira, it was Thelma’s first time meeting him.
“Hello, Mr. Tony.” Thelma was quite respectful towards him.
Tony Brown, a man who had been on the battlefield, exuded a strong aura of authority. Even when he simply looked at someone, one could feel the intense killing intent in his gaze. However, when he looked at Mira, he appeared completely at peace.
He nodded at her, “Hello, I heard Mira say your husband has served in the military, is that right?”
“Yes, I hope to introduce the two of you when there’s a chance; I think you both will have a lot in common.”
“Sure, I look forward to it.”
Tony Brown held Mira’s hand tightly, not letting go. After a brief greeting with Thelma, he took Mira and left.
Once in the car, Mira asked him, “You said you would take me home?”
“Yes, I’m taking you home.”
“Where to?”
“You’ll know when we get there.”
Tony Brown brought her to a villa area, but this area was heavily guarded, making it difficult for outsiders to enter. The car stopped outside a villa, and Tony Brown took out a key to unlock the door. Inside was spacious but empty, furnished only with some simple furniture.
“Do you like it? It’s provided by the state.”
Mira walked around the house, which had two floors and many rooms. She couldn’t believe it, “Is this really our home?”
“Of course.”
Mira was overjoyed, tears welling up in her eyes. Seeing this, Tony Brown hurriedly wiped her tears away, pulling her into his arms and comforting her, “What’s wrong? Didn’t you say you wanted a home? I’ve given it to you now; aren’t you happy?”
“I’m happy, I’m very happy. I’m just afraid I’m dreaming.”
“How about you bite me? If I feel pain, I’ll tell you this isn’t a dream.”
Mira laughed at him, “Even if I were to bite, it would be myself.”
His rough palm wiped her tears dry, “Alright, no more crying. Let’s go to the furniture store later and pick out all the furniture you like, okay?”
“Okay.”

Before the wedding, the two ultimately decided to inform the Jones family about their plans.
Mira and Tony Brown went to the Jones family. They had already given the family a heads-up, so when they arrived, the Jones elders were waiting for them at home.
Jones Mama was still very warm, while Jones Papa remained reserved. However, Mira felt a strange awkwardness in this meeting, especially since Jones Calvin had recently made his feelings for her clear on social media.
After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Tony Brown stated their purpose, “Mira and I plan to hold our wedding next month.”
Jones Mama’s smile was a bit awkward, “Have you really decided?”
Tony Brown tightly held Mira’s hand and replied, “We’ve decided.”
Jones Mama and Jones Papa exchanged glances, and Jones Papa said, “Since you’ve decided, we wish you both well.”
The conversation went relatively smoothly, and the couple did not intend to stay for dinner. Having stated their purpose, they prepared to leave.
However, as they exited the living room, they saw Jones Calvin slowly coming down the stairs. Mira hadn’t expected him to be home today.
Seeing Jones Calvin, Jones Mama’s expression became even more awkward as she hurriedly said, “Weren’t you sleeping upstairs? Why are you up so soon?”
Jones Calvin said nothing, slowly descending the stairs with his hands in his pockets, his steps heavy and his expression cold. His gaze fell on Mira, and only after reaching the bottom of the stairs did he slowly turn his eyes to Tony Brown.
He smirked, a hint of mischief in his smile, “Aren’t you already married? Why are you getting married again? Do you want to commit bigamy?”
Jones Mama, seeing this, rushed forward to pull him, scolding, “Are you still half asleep? If you’re not awake, hurry back upstairs to sleep.”
Yet Jones Calvin stood his ground, and no matter how Jones Mama pushed, he wouldn’t budge.
“I am not married; it was Mira who misunderstood.”
