Seeing that he remained unmoved, Thelma threw herself into his arms and hugged him, saying, “I really love Noah. I don’t want you to be angry over these unworthy people.”
Sam Noah turned his head slightly, secretly smiling with delight. He couldn’t keep pretending anymore, so he wrapped his arms around her, cleared his throat, and spoke in a normal tone, “Alright.”
Thelma finally breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that this man was really hard to coax.
“I gave the new product endorsement to Ava.”
Sam Noah still intended to tell her about this matter; he didn’t want any misunderstandings between them.
Thelma pushed him away, her face full of questions, “Why?”
Sam Noah helped her tidy her hair, his face filled with tenderness, “She worked hard to take these photos; she deserves a good reward, doesn’t she?”
Thelma looked at him with a face that said, “Are you crazy?”
Sam Noah continued, “I believe you will be satisfied with my reward.”

Although he was smiling, that smile seemed to cast a white mist over his face, making his expression appear inscrutable. Thelma knew this man had a gentle side, but he also had his methods in the business world. However, since he said he would make her satisfied, he must have his plans, so Thelma didn’t ask further.
“It’s getting late; should we go pick up the child?”

After picking up Tyler from school, the three of them sat in the car. Thelma thought about how she had been busy lately and hadn’t spent much time with the father and son. Since tomorrow was the weekend, and she had promised to take Tyler to the amusement park but hadn’t gone yet, she said, “Tomorrow is Saturday. Shall we take Tyler to the amusement park?”
