The Love She Never Saw Coming – Chapter 133

Spring heart fluttering

He held her as they sat on the bed, spreading her legs to straddle his lap. He suddenly pulled her down onto his thigh, her body leaning back. He twisted her hands behind her back, and Thelma felt dizzy, biting her lip and unable to suppress her laughter.

The next day, when Thelma woke up, Sam Noah was already gone. She lay in bed for a while before getting up. Fortunately, she had often exercised during college, so her physical condition was decent; otherwise, she wouldn’t have been able to get up after such intense activity the night before.

The sheets were a mess, with a large stain of unknown liquid, and Thelma felt embarrassed to give them to to wash. She stuffed the sheets into the washing machine and then went to the studio. Luckily, the people at the studio were very easygoing and didn’t ask her why she was late.

However, she spent the entire day absent-minded. Later, Phoenix couldn’t stand it anymore and reminded her, “What’s wrong with you? You look like you’ve taken drugs! One moment you’re grinning like an idiot, and the next moment you’re grinning again. Your face is clearly written with four big words!”

“What four words?”

“Spring heart fluttering.”

“……”

Thelma felt a bit embarrassed. She tried to keep herself composed and calm, but her mind uncontrollably flashed with those not-so-harmonious images. Thelma remembered her saying Sam Noah was lewd; in fact, she was even more so.

Because Thelma arrived a bit late in the morning, she took the initiative to stay a little longer in the afternoon. When she returned, Sam Noah and the little one were already back.

Sam Noah was sitting on the sofa, reading a book, while the little one was kneeling on the floor playing with a puzzle. Occasionally, the father reading would glance at him and remind him, “That green piece should go on the left.”

“Really?” The little one muttered to himself, moving the green piece to the left, “It really does fit!”

The warm light overhead illuminated them, and the scene of the father and son was simply indescribably warm and harmonious. Thelma suddenly felt that her life was so perfect that it was almost unbelievable. Even with amnesia, even with five years of incompleteness, she felt that as long as she had Sam Noah and the child, it was enough.

Sam Noah quickly noticed her at the door. Upon seeing her, his ears inexplicably turned red, and he returned his gaze to the book, calmly asking, “Have you eaten?”

“I have.”

Thelma put down her bag, picked up her son, and kissed his soft, tender cheek, playing with him. In the evening, Thelma still followed her usual routine of telling her son a story to lull him to sleep before returning to her room.

Sam Noah had changed into his pajamas and was sitting at the table reading. When he saw her come in, he asked, “Is Tyler asleep?”

“Yes, he is.”

“Come here.”

“……”

Thelma looked over at him, only to see him gesture to his thigh. Her face flushed, and she walked over. Sam Noah pulled her hand and tugged her onto his lap.

He wrapped his arms around her waist from behind, his solid chest pressing against her. Thelma felt a moment of daze, but she quickly calmed herself down.

He took out a document and handed it to her, “This is the person Mira wanted to find.”

Thelma hurriedly took the document and glanced at it. It was indeed detailed information about Tony Brown.

“Did you find him so quickly?” Thelma looked at Tony Brown’s current location, “Luna Ridge? How did he end up in Luna Ridge? Isn’t he from Maplewick?”

Tony Brown, like Sam Noah, was from Maplewick. She also knew that Mira had come to Maplewick to find him, and she had stayed there for two years but had never found Tony Brown.

“Not sure.”

However, Thelma didn’t want to delve deeper. She planned to give this to Mira tomorrow; she was sure Mira would be very happy to know.

Thelma thought of something and asked him, “Why didn’t you tell me before that you went to find Mira?”

“Nothing much to say.”

“……”

“Is there something else you did that I don’t know about?”

Sam Noah looked at her serious little expression, furrowing his brows, “Are you being polite with me? You’re my wife; isn’t it only natural for me to help you?”

He said it so matter-of-factly, but Thelma felt a bit ashamed, “That’s true, but you’re usually so busy. I don’t want you to worry about my matters.”

“Just a small effort; it doesn’t count as worrying.”

“……”

He answered casually, his lips brushing against her ear, making Thelma feel a bit ticklish, and there was a tingling sensation as if she had been electrified.

Being this close, she could hear every breath he took, and she could even hear the soft hum that escaped his throat when he kissed her ear.
