She really knew how to torment people; he wanted to punish her on the spot. Sam Noah had never thought that he would have such a serious moment, describing himself as sitting in a chaotic situation was not an exaggeration.
He knew how the outside world viewed him—polite on the surface but ruthless inside. He felt this description was quite fitting. He wasn’t exactly a good person. What he wanted, he would get; those who provoked him would be trampled underfoot.
But he never expected that one day, Sam Noah would become a gentleman, nearly bursting with desire yet still remaining steadfast, facing his wife’s temptation while still wanting to be the unperturbed. If he said this out loud, probably no one would believe it.
It was truly a miracle; he had actually done it.
Don’t move!
Enough, enough, Thelma! He really wanted to remind her not to play anymore; if she kept playing, he wouldn’t be able to hold back!
But he couldn’t say anything. He clearly could stop it; he clearly could avoid this discomfort. Yet, like a pervert eager to t*****e himself, he knew he could only endure, knowing that her closeness was nothing but torment for him, yet he still couldn’t bring himself to speak.
He wanted her close, wanted her next to him, thinking about it like a madman.
Sam Noah felt sweat forming on his forehead, his hands tightly clenched, every muscle tensed. When would this end? Just a few abs, had they not played enough after so long?
Thelma, please stop playing, I beg you.
Thelma did not hear his inner call; she was completely immersed in this wonderful experience, feeling nervous and excited, completely unaware of the man’s body that was tensed to the point of trembling.
Finally, she felt she should stop. She no longer wanted more and, satisfied, said to him, “Good night, Noah.”
“……”
He should have breathed a sigh of relief; this torment had finally stopped. But the moment her soft hand left, an indescribable sense of loss spread in his heart.
Just a moment ago, he had begged her to stop, and now that she really had, he felt a bit unwilling. He cleared his throat, trying to sound normal as he asked her, “Not touching anymore?”
Sam Noah felt he was truly despicable!
Thelma felt her face heat up. She buried her face in the blanket and said, “No… no more touching.”
Sam Noah: “……”
What a bad thing, leaving him like this and not caring.
Sam Noah couldn’t sleep. He waited until she fell asleep before quietly going to the bathroom. He only came out after feeling relieved, wiping the sweat from his forehead. He lay back down, looking at the woman who was sleeping soundly. He felt frustrated and leaned down to bite her lip. Hearing her pained whimper, he quickly released her, feeling a bit heartbroken.
“I really owe you.”
He muttered softly, then lay down and covered himself with the blanket, going to sleep!
When Thelma woke up, Sam Noah was no longer in bed. She went downstairs and saw Sam Noah sitting in the living room reading a magazine. This was his habit; he would read a magazine every morning before breakfast to catch up on the latest news.
“Are you hungry?” he asked when he saw her come down.
“Not really, I’m not very hungry.”
Mrs Smith had gone out to buy groceries early in the morning. At this moment, she came back with a large bag of vegetables and immediately said to Thelma, “Madam, a few people came to see you outside. One of the old gentlemen said he is your father.”
Her father? Chris? How did they know where she lived? They actually came to her door so early in the morning?
“I’ll go out and take a look.”
Sam Noah was worried. “I’ll go with you.”
“No need, I can handle it myself.” She didn’t want Sam Noah to be affected by the Chris family because of her.
Sam Noah didn’t insist.
Thelma pushed open the large iron gate and indeed saw Chris’s family outside. Ava was also there, wearing large sunglasses in the middle of winter because she was a public figure.
“What are you doing here?”
Thelma asked directly, and her expression was cold, showing no intention of inviting them in to sit.
Susan chuckled awkwardly, “Thelma, let’s go in and talk.”
“No need, just say whatever you have to say here.”
Thelma’s bluntness made the three of them a bit awkward. Chris sighed heavily, “I know you’re resentful towards me. After all these years, you haven’t wanted to contact me. But you really misunderstood me back then. I never favored anyone; I just hoped our family could live in harmony and not argue over trivial matters.”
Thelma replied, “You think it’s trivial, but I don’t.”
“Yes, yes, yes.” Susan hurriedly interjected, “We were wrong back then, and your sister indeed did something wrong.”
Ava quickly said, “Thelma, I was wrong about what happened back then. I apologize to you sincerely. Can you forgive me? We used to be so close.”
