The more David grabbed her shoulder painfully and struggled, the narrower Lizzy’s eyes became.

He demanded proof incoherently and glanced inside Lizzy’s room through the crack in the open door.
What that meant was clear.
He was demanding a relationship. A low-class relationship to vent his anger and inferiority complex.
And so, Lizzy finally came to a conclusion.
‘This is a useless card.’
She didn’t feel any presence around her. It seemed that David had already sent everyone away.
That meant that she didn’t have to be careful anymore either.
At the same time as she made her decision, the kind and lovely mask was removed. And finally, her true face was revealed.
No longer holding back, she curled up the corners of her lips and laughed with a snort.

“You don’t have any proof of that, do you? And the kiss? Go ahead and tell him. Either way, I’m still going to be beaten like a dog if I’m even slightly annoying. What’s going to change?”

“In a few months, I’m going to marry Aaron and enter the Imperial Palace, so I don’t need to be careful anymore. But what about you?”

Until now, these were all the impressions he had of Lizzy.

But the face that was glaring at him with venomous eyes and smiling was neither cute, nor soft, nor kind.

David thought as he looked at her, who was tearing her lips wide and smiling, uttering dirty words.
