The Alpha’s Second Chance – Chapter 95

Battling

Brianna exhaled deeply and disengaged from her recollections as Stella tapped her arm. “Where were you located?”“She inquired.”

“Nowhere in particular,” she replied with a faint smile at the woman.

“Unprepared for a minimum of three weeks; tenants remain in residence.”

“It is not a significant matter, Stella.” I am able to finance the hotel. “I would not have made the reservation if I were unable to do so; do not concern yourself with it.” To demonstrate this, I instructed her and Logan to get dressed. They were all engaged in shopping. Brianna had observed the timestamp of Carlos’s text message. If he departed immediately prior to texting Stella, and the message was interpreted as such, the man would arrive in approximately 12 hours, contingent upon layovers. The duration may exceed that, contingent upon his location when he messaged Stella, specifically whether he was on the east coast where Stella resided. Where was the Pack in Florida? Or on the western coastline? She was uncertain whether they were still searching for her, as her stores were all located on the West Coast.

He would arrive at the earliest late tonight, likely jet-lagged and physically uncomfortable from the flight, and would not be sought until at least tomorrow. Today was a day of leisure for everyone.

Brianna informed Stella that after glancing over her shoulder for the tenth time while shopping, she appeared to comprehend and calm down, ultimately able to relax and enjoy their shopping excursion at Pitt Street Mall.

Brianna purchased new attire for everyone. Today, she treated Stella to demonstrate her indifference towards financial matters. By 2 PM, they had exhausted their shopping and returned to the hotel to recline on the couch.

She and Stella consumed coffee and cake while Logan configured his new PS5 to engage in online gaming with his friends in the United States.

She answered her phone at 2130 and was quite surprised to see her neighbour Ingrid’s number displayed on the screen. Responded, “Hello Ingrid, what is the matter?”“She inquired.” Ingrid would only contact her when she observed something suspicious in the street, never without cause.

The woman enjoyed sitting in her living room, drinking tea or coffee, and observing her neighbours, who resided across the road from Brianna. “Brianna, are you relocating without informing me?””

“What? No!”Brianna frowned; it was an unusual question to pose. “I am currently on an unplanned trip to my store, so I am out of the country, but I am not relocating. Why?””

“I am currently in my living room observing four large individuals who have parked what appears to be a moving van in your driveway.”

“What?”She was profoundly astonished by this news and significantly perplexed as well.

“Yes, Brianna, wait a moment; another vehicle is arriving, an SUV, and they are conversing with one another.” Discharging containers. Your garage is currently open.

“What on earth?”She murmured, it had to be the insufferable Alpha Nathan, attempting to coerce her once more. Consolidating all her belongings and relocating them to his rucksack.

“I will not relocate, Ingrid; contact the authorities, as those individuals are thieves.”

“Certainly, Brianna.”

“Which company does that moving van belong to?” Could you procure a logo for me? I must contact the company to inform them of the situation. Inform them that I did not authorise it.

“I cannot perceive it from this location; I shall proceed there and insist that they cease immediately.”

“Negative!” Simply contact the police. “Do not jeopardise your safety, Ingrid.”

“Understood.” “I will proceed immediately.” The call was terminated.

The egotistical, arrogant individual was still attempting to coerce her into relocating to his pack and had even dispatched movers for that purpose. He believed that her lack of affiliation rendered her susceptible to manipulation. He experienced an unpleasant surprise. Brianna Layla was a renowned human designer. If he desired a conflict with her, she would oblige, engaging in a highly visible confrontation within the human realm.

The man could not simply abduct her from her life and compel her into his pack, especially without Logan as leverage, while she and her son were situated halfway across the globe.

Accursed Alphas consistently believe they can obtain anything they desire. It is probable that he merely sought a portion of her profit margin. She understood that any business associated with the pack required the wolf to relinquish between 30% and 50% of their profit margin. It was directly allocated to the Pack funds. Each wolf contributed to the pack’s productivity, demonstrating their support to enhance the collective well-being of the group. Allocate funds for the enhancement of existing buildings and educational institutions, as well as the construction of new facilities.

She had exerted considerable effort to achieve her current status, and no Alpha would intrude upon her life to appropriate her accomplishments, which she had attained independently, without assistance. He could certainly insert it into his posterior.

She retained legal counsel and merely required verification of his identity to confront him. Accuse him of theft; she maintained a functional studio in that residence, which could reasonably imply his intent to appropriate her designs as well. Some of them were valued at over 50 thousand or more. She would publicly charge him with egregious grand theft. The man would need to withdraw and clarify his actions to the humans.
