Ryder signalled for both West and Terence to remain seated. Both had observed the palpable anger emanating from the woman traversing the room, prompting their wolves to instinctively respond. “She is Nolan’s mother,” he informed them.
Tia stopped directly in front of her son and gazed up at him. Standing at 6 feet 2 inches, merely 2 inches shorter than her son, she glared at the man and astonished everyone by delivering a forceful slap to his face, exclaiming angrily, “Are you so impatient?” Have I imparted no knowledge regarding humans to you?”
Ryder observed Oscar emerge during the assault on his human and snarl at her, only for her to place her hand directly in his face and point a finger at him. “I’m not afraid of you; back off, Oscar,” she retorted defiantly at his wolf.
Oscar retreated momentarily, leaving Nolan with a tense glare, his jaw clenched. She was an Elite class warrior capable of confronting him and his wolf, presenting a formidable challenge in combat. Unlikely to secure victory, yet capable of inflicting considerable damage upon him.
“Human Carlos, she is a human, and you assert ownership over her.” Engage with her, for the love of the Goddess…you foolish individual, what if you are unable to reclaim her?”
Nolan declared unequivocally, “I am going to.”
“Oh, and you believe.. Merely because you resemble your father in attractiveness, she will undoubtedly be enamoured with you.
Nolan resembled his father, possessing blonde hair and hazel green eyes, while Enzo bore a closer resemblance to Tia, featuring brown hair and hazel blue eyes.
Nolan conceded, “No.”
“You are correct in that regard.” Enquire with your father about the efforts required to persuade me to acquiesce; he incessantly attempted to employ that nonsensical Gamma Charm on me, which infuriated me to the extent that I physically confronted him multiple times.
Thomas smiled and nodded, not denying it. Ryder recognised that Thomas was immensely proud of his Mate, who was strong and unyielding, capable of confronting him without hesitation. Thomas intervened to prevent his Mate from striking her son with a closed fist. It seemed she was eager for a confrontation. Desired a portion of her own son for potentially disrupting his Mate Bond with a human female.
“Tia, please remain composed.” Ryder finally rose and intervened, as the situation was escalating, “We do, in fact, know her whereabouts.” Utilised her credit card and travelled to Canada. I will retrieve her; I will converse with her personally.
“Do you genuinely believe she will heed your advice?” “Following your harassment, in an attempt to reach Brianna,” she retorted.
Aiden seethed internally and emerged to express his disapproval of her disrespect towards her Alpha, growling at her in a low, menacing tone. Observed her lower her head slightly upon recognising her actions. Inhale deeply and subsequently express remorse to him for her remarks and demeanour.
“Kindly return to the Pack, Tia.” I will address the situation with Siennia, ensuring it is resolved or, at the very least, facilitating her reintegration into the pack so she can comprehend the circumstances and make an informed decision.
She gazed directly at him, her expression softened. “Sienna?” That is an aesthetically pleasing name. “I believed it was Stella.” He nodded. “Sienna Evans is indeed quite obstinate and devoted to Brianna, much like your loyalty to my mother and now to Helen. She is resolute, even in opposition to me, having attempted to assert dominance over me previously and referred to me with unflattering epithets.” You will appreciate her. “I perceive much of you in her,” he remarked with a smile at the conclusion, attempting to placate her.
“I hope she defeats him, due to his conduct,” she murmured.
“I am confident she will eventually.” Ryder smiled, envisioning that possibility, “Nolan genuinely regrets the actions of himself and his wolf.” I suspect Oscar has been brooding since her departure.
Observed Tia’s eyes expand and subsequently shift towards her son. She exhaled sharply and shook her head, then approached Nolan and embraced him, murmuring, “Just refrain from any further actions, foolish son.”
Thomas presented Ryder with all their passports and directly addressed him, “Alpha, may I speak with you privately?”Although he phrased it as a question, Ryder sensed from the man’s expression that a conversation was imminent. Presumably a question posed by his father, not intended for public discourse over the phone.
Ryder nodded and fixed his gaze on Tia for approximately 20 seconds to ensure she comprehended his authority, which had been established for 11 years. He then departed with Thomas to occupy a different table. In the wolfen realm, privacy was nonexistent, as wolves’ acute hearing would easily detect any sound across the room. Withdrawing was merely a customary gesture.
