The Alpha’s Second Chance – Chapter 76

Succinctly

Luca conveyed the same information from Los Angeles, and both Enzo and Nolan are currently en route back as well. He was informed that Stella had escaped from Nolan, prompting the man’s wolf to emerge in an attempt to seize the girl, necessitating Enzo’s intervention to restrain the creature. No positive prospects exist externally or internally.

All individuals were returning to Colorado. Stella was expected to return home. Clearly, she was unaware that she had permitted Nolan and his wolf to assert their dominance over her. He had persuaded her to claim him in return and was now bound to the man by the moon goddess herself. Even in the absence of the full moon. He needed to return that girl to his pack, along with Nolan, and resolve the situation.

He needed to sit the woman down and elucidate their relationship, clarifying her actual status concerning Nolan, while hoping she would not react with extreme distress or outright reject his Gamma. It may be beneficial to inform her that Brianna and Logan were also wolves, which should significantly demonstrate that they were not monsters.

If she could be persuaded to enter a Mate Bond with Nolan, he would promptly induct her into his pack, but this was driven by his own self-serving desires. He could leverage her loyalty oath to extract information regarding Brianna, as she would be compelled to disclose it once she became a pack member and he assumed the role of her Alpha.

He must proceed correctly, first resolving matters with her and Nolan, clarifying to Stella that Sadie was, in fact, his younger sister rather than his Mate as Brianna presumed, and ascertain whether she would disclose her whereabouts. If not, he would inform her that Brianna was his absent Mate and that he had been seeking her since her departure.

He hoped that Stella would trust him and assist him.

If none of this succeeded, he would resort to Alpha Order to extract the information from the woman, fully aware that this would infuriate his Gamma, but it would be his final option. He genuinely hoped she would trust him, contact Brianna, inform her about Sadie, and assist him in persuading her to return home.

He needed to locate Brianna before any harm befell her, return her home, and resolve this dire predicament. He recognised it would not be easy, yet he was determined to proceed. Contemplated the possibility of their compatibility and the potential to become partners. He wished to ascertain that a Goddess-Gifted Mate was not to be dismissed casually.

Ryder understood she had her justifications for her actions. While she could not be held accountable, it was imperative for them to convene in person and attempt to engage in a discussion.

Perhaps he could persuade her to consent to a trial relationship, provided their bond was genuinely severed. He unequivocally desired her to grant him an opportunity to ascertain if they could unite, wished for her inclusion in this pack, and sought his son to be part of it as well. Required her to facilitate an introduction between him and Logan.

I was seated in the hotel suite with Luca when Nolan and Enzo eventually entered. Ryder gazed intently at his Gamma, feeling considerable disappointment, yet refrained from delivering a lecture, despite his initial intention to do so. However, observing him now, he could discern that Nolan was aware he had significantly erred. His expression conveyed everything.

He merely shook his head at his Gamma and remarked, “Monumentally foolish, Nolan.”

“I know,” he replied. “Is there any indication of her presence?”“He inquired.”

“No,” Ryder replied, shaking his head at the man. He extended a piece of paper towards him. “Here is her home address. I recommend you visit her, knock on her door, and, if she is present, apologise to her.” Subsequently, escort her to me for a formal discussion. Affirmative?”

Observed him exhale, acknowledge with a nod, grasp the paper, and subsequently exit the room alone. Ryder gazed at Enzo with a questioning expression, “Is that prudent?” Is he alone with her?”

Enzo shrugged, stating, “I had extensive discussions with him, and Oscar is presently brooding, so it should be acceptable.”

“Brooding?”Luca scoffed from his chair, “I have never seen Steel sulk, not even once.”

Even Ryder was astonished by that. As far as he was aware, male wolves did not exhibit sulking behaviour. “Did you inform your parents, and did they reprimand him severely?”“He enquired of Enzo with curiosity.”

“Not yet.” Enzo shook his head. “Oscar personally stalked her, and he now comprehends this retrospectively, rather than in the moment.” His actions were indeed erroneous; however, I had to remind both individuals that humans require distinct handling, and I did reprimand him extensively.

“Thus the sulking.” Ryder acknowledged. The man’s wolf appeared to be discontented with itself. It is probably beneficial, as it should deter him from repeating the action upon encountering the woman. “If we were at home within the Pack, I would be obligated to formally reprimand him for his actions.”

“He is cognisant of that,” Enzo affirmed. “Is there any update regarding Brianna?””

“No, we have examined all of her establishments on the west coast; there is nothing available.” She is absent from all of them.
