The Alpha’s Second Chance – Chapter 275

Unrestrained

“Indeed, there is.” She nodded. “Please refrain from pursuing that further.”

He had no desire to disturb her, as they were currently enjoying a harmonious interaction. “It would appear exquisite on you,” he remarked gently. “I desire for you to possess the dress you have always envisioned.”

“It is irreparably damaged,” she asserted bluntly.

“Create a new one…Do you still wish to wear that one?”He enquired with caution.

“I am uncertain, to be candid.” Could you please refrain from touching that? temporarily

Ryder nodded, “I can.” He wished to enquire further about the dress, specifically its creation and the motivations behind it.

What was her rationale for retaining it? What prompted her to destroy it? There are probably valid reasons in her perspective, yet discussing them may be distressing. The subject resembled that of her parents’ residence, yet remained off-limits. He hoped she would eventually discuss it with him, and he would refrain from pressuring her. when she was prepared.

I also intend to design and create a dress for Stella, and I suspect your sister will desire something for the upcoming full moon. I have numerous tasks to complete in the forthcoming three weeks.

“Mm, it is probable,” Ryder sighed, “but Brianna, you need not design dresses for everyone.”

No! You entered my store to confront me regarding a dress for your sister. I am confident that you still desire her to possess one internally. Although you may be angry with her, you still desire her to appear beautiful. “For Luca, indeed.” One could discern her efforts to suppress laughter.

Ryder exhaled, “If he is her Mate, then I suppose so.”

“That must be quite vexing for you.” Your Beta and your younger sister.

“It is, and my father asserts that it is acceptable even if they are not Mates.” He ran a hand through his hair and sighed. “Let’s change the subject.” We must publicly declare our relationship to humanity.

“I presume we do.”

“You presume.” Ryder arched an eyebrow and scowled at her, until he discerned a subtle smirk on her visage. She was manipulating him.

Snarled directly at her and pulled her onto his lap. “Yes,” he drew her near and whispered, “Teasing me, Brianna.” You will ultimately be unclothed.

She chuckled softly, glanced at him from beneath her lashes, and murmured with a faint growl in her voice, “I might like that.”

Ryder smiled and rose from the couch, transporting her to their bedroom. She was genuinely laughing now. “Excellent, let us disrobe,” he responded with a laugh.

“Within our bed.”

Brianna’s Perspective

Their engagement celebration was in full progress in the pack-house ballroom. A multitude of black, gold, and blue balloons were secured to the floor by small gold-wrapped weights adorned with blue and black ribbons, enabling the helium-filled balloons to ascend to varying heights between 4 and 12 feet.

Each balloon featured her name and Ryder’s name embossed upon it. The man appeared to have lost his sanity due to this party. All the tables were adorned with vases of her preferred flowers. Substantial pedestal arrangements were positioned by all the doors leading outside the ballroom, despite those doors being closed due to the cold and snow outside.

Two enormous pedestal urns of flowers, each twice the size of the other urns, adorned with attached balloons, were positioned at the entrance to the ballroom from the pack-house. Large ribbon garlands in royal blue adorned the room. Despite Brianna’s request for decorations to be inclusive of him, he chuckled softly and asserted, “No, I desire it entirely for you,” remaining resolute in his stance.

Ryder had deliberately focused the engagement party entirely on her, and she had been unable to persuade him otherwise. The man appeared resolute and unyielding in his decision. She had even attempted to persuade Helen and his father to assist her in influencing him. Both of them had ridiculed her.

Luca was equally unhelpful. He remarked, “Ryder will not alter his decision, Brianna; simply acquiesce, as he is as obstinate as you when his mind is made up.”

Ryder insisted on celebrating their engagement during the full moon, disregarding Brianna’s concerns that it was premature to host an engagement party merely three weeks after publicly announcing their relationship.

This evening would also reveal the truth about Sadie and Luca, and I did not wish to detract from that moment. He had not preoccupied himself with Sadie and Luca, remaining predominantly irritated by the situation; Sadie had relocated to Luca’s suite, and it continued to vex him to witness her emerge from Luca’s room, cheerful and smiling.

He merely stated that they were affluent and could act as they wished; affluent individuals frequently engaged in such behaviour, and no persuasion would be effective. Even attempting to seduce the man in his own office had failed to alter his decision.

He chuckled afterward and murmured, “It will still occur on the full moon, my love.” The man was as obstinate as she was.

A reporter was present within the pack, someone he seemingly trusted to capture photographs and convey his narrative to the human realm as he desired. It appears to be the same item from their shopping excursion.

Only wolfen guests were present here. She purchased a dress for the occasion, lacking sufficient time to design and create one due to other commitments. She selected a strapless A-line royal blue chiffon gown that extended to the floor, adorned with a broad crystal belt, and complemented by a three-quarter sleeved bolero jacket. Prepare colours for her this evening, considering that her wedding dress will be white. Her hair this evening was unrestrained and curled, cascading freely down her back. Ryder smiled at her and remarked that she looked exceptional.

Brianna stood beside him, having been permitted to remain no more than an arm’s length away throughout the evening; his hand rested on the small of her back, encircled her waist, or lay on her hip, and as they walked, his hand was intertwined with hers. He appeared reluctant to release her entirely.
