She gazed up at him with a frown, enquiring, “Why?””
“I am uncertain; it pertains to rogues in a group.” They do not consistently manage it effectively. I assume he has not previously encountered one until now.
Brianna affirmed with a nod.
“He appears content, Brianna.”
“I acknowledge that, Carlos,” she replied, and she indeed could. Although she and Layla may not appreciate their presence at this moment, Logan was beginning to enjoy it here. Primarily due to Carlos’s efforts and success in assimilating the boy. He appeared to understand Logan’s vulnerability, his incessant desire to compete and remain active. Rowan’s awakening may present a distinct experience.
Particularly with Ryder transporting him.
I heard Carlos chuckle and observed Stella walking hand in hand with him; she appeared content to Brianna, having finally discovered her Mr. Right. He epitomised the woman’s desires, being both blonde and well-muscled.
Contemplated the appearance of Fade and pondered the duration of the wolf’s companionship with Stella. She had not perceived any change in Stella until today when she awoke.
It probably occurred during the full moon, which had not yet transitioned; however, Brianna was confident it would occur before the subsequent full moon. Her wolf’s striking blue eyes were a rarity; most wolves possessed green eyes, while pure-blooded Alpha wolves exhibited red, and she had previously encountered yellow, but hers were white.
I contemplated the existence of additional colours and their implications. Having never encountered blue, she anticipated that Fade would be extraordinary.
Silently trailing behind Ryder, Layla was introspectively resting, her head on her paws, observing with a semblance of interest yet refraining from interaction.
Remains reluctant to express her viewpoint. Brianna would not exert pressure on her. She would speak when she felt prepared. I observed Ryder placing Logan on the waist-high fence and subsequently elucidating the various components of the agility course, including the hurdles to be traversed, the low hurdles to be ducked under, the tires to be navigated in and out of, the climbing wall, and the abseil required for descent, as well as the wooden walls of varying heights that needed to be jumped over or scaled if one was too short. The extremely steep mud inclines of a pit require descent and subsequent ascent on the opposite side, approximately 20 feet in either direction. Monkey bars and rope ladders that required ascending and descending on either side. Four of these were distributed throughout the course, each possessing varying tensions to adjust the level of difficulty. The climbing ropes and the concluding military ascent beneath bamboo poles, which transformed into a substantial mud pit when saturated.
Logan was thoroughly enthusiastic about the course and eager to participate, despite being too diminutive to tackle the climbing walls and hurdles. He gazed at her imploringly when Ryder informed him that he was too young for it.
Contemplated whether to permit it and acquiesce. She had utilised it since the age of ten and was not particularly large; as long as one exercised caution, it was acceptable. “You may attempt to sample some of it.” “Walk it, Nolan, or your father may accompany you,” she finally declared.
She observed Ryder’s gaze shift towards her. She observed that he evidently disapproved of the notion. “I would prefer that he did not, Brianna; he is excessively young.”
“He desires to,” she asserted plainly. She seldom denied her son any request.
“Nevertheless.” Ryder scowled at her.
“If you refuse, then I shall.” She advanced. “I have relied on this since the age of ten, so I see no reason against it.”
“What?”Both Ryder and Nolan expressed their astonishment in unison.
“I also question your claim to the record,” she retorted. “Layla and I probably still do.” Ryder’s mouth dropped open as she circumnavigated the fence and proceeded past him. “Come here, Logan.” She extended her hand towards him.
“Hold on, let us consider a compromise instead,” Ryder stated, placing a hand on her arm to stop her. Nolan and I will execute it, while Logan observes.
Brianna observed Logan, who was sulking about his inability to participate, but then acquiesced with a nod.
Nolan remarked, “Ryder, we are not appropriately attired for this.”
“Remove your shoes and shirts, Gamma,” Ryder commanded. “Demonstrate your prowess to your Mate.” She directed her gaze at Carlos, who was now grinning and already removing his shoes. He appreciated that concept; clearly, Ryder understood which triggers to activate.
Brianna seated herself, reclined against the fence, and gestured for Stella to join her. She did, drawing Logan into her lap. She recognised that Ryder was probable to triumph over the Gamma, as his alpha wolf would possess superior strength and speed. Whispered into Logan’s ear, “Inform them, no assistance from wolves.”
