The Alpha’s Possession – Chapter 6

Daisy had dismissed their son, and they appeared indifferent, failing to mention him at that moment. I merely wished to ascertain her well-being. Had indeed offered and financed her entire university tuition and informed her of a wolf psychologist they believed would be beneficial for her to consult, had already scheduled an appointment for her, and conveyed that she would be meeting him.

She genuinely required it and underwent two years of therapy with the recommended individual. She had not only confided in him her thoughts and feelings, but upon Amelia’s return, he assisted them in resolving their issues regarding Daisy’s actions towards her own wolf. Amelia now comprehended that, despite her previous happiness with Hudson, her Mate. Daisy had been discontented and could now comprehend the reasons for her discord with Caelan, attributed to the unfortunate circumstances.

They were not destined Mates, and despite Caelan and her being compelled to be together, their relationship was untenable, regardless of her efforts. The man harboured excessive anger regarding the matter. Amelia felt sorrowful that Daisy had distanced herself and spurned Caelan, which signified the dissolution of her bond with Hudson as well; however, she had ultimately come to terms with it.

Daisy successfully healed herself and reconnected with her wolf. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in oil painting and watercolour, as well as a Master’s Degree in Language and Linguistics. She was a wholly committed artist, with her inaugural international art exhibition set to debut in Ottawa, Canada. Within a few days, she successfully applied for and obtained a position at an art gallery assisting with art exhibitions. This is what she engaged in here in Seattle when not painting.

Was pleased to relocate there for the subsequent two years, but was subsequently mandated to return to the pack. To collaborate effectively for the greater good. An art studio would be constructed for her, given her increasing popularity among the esteemed members of their allied packs. In the past year, she painted three portraits of Alphas and their Lunas, some depicted together and others individually for their respective offices.

She had to vigorously contend for these two years apart from the pack in Ottawa, Canada. Alpha Ronan and his Beta Jonathon arrived at her flat after she foolishly hung up on her Alpha in favour of him, initially prohibiting such an action. She had to terminate the call, or she would face repercussions for her anger and shouting at him. Such an action was never permitted for someone of her disposition.

She contemplated going rogue to achieve her objectives and was still deliberating when a knock on her door interrupted her hours later, revealing Alpha Ronan and Beta Jonathon before her. He believed she would face severe repercussions; however, it seems he merely desired a serious discussion regarding her return to the pack.

Alpha Ronan exerted considerable pressure on the issue, reluctant to compel her return due to her prior relationship with Caelan, yet asserted that it was time for her to come home. She could not remain absent indefinitely. Ultimately, the agreement stipulated two years in Canada, after which she was required to return home permanently. No exceptions or qualifications. He would construct a studio for her on the pack’s premises, allowing her to customise it according to her preferences and requirements.

If she refused his request, he would promptly return her to the pack, issuing an order if necessary. Daisy acquiesced, having no alternative, as this was her inaugural international exhibition and she genuinely desired to attend. There existed a singular additional condition. She was required to return home and affirm her loyalty and allegiance to Caelan. As he assumed the role of Alpha of the pack. Her presence was obligatory.

Daisy gazed at him for an extended minute. She had anticipated its occurrence eventually, “Saturday,” she acknowledged. Was aware that Saturday marked Caelan’s birthday. Consequently, that was the moment he would be inaugurated. She was somewhat astonished that it had not occurred earlier.

The man was 32 or would turn 32 on Saturday. He was somewhat intrigued as to why his father had delayed it for such an extended period. However, she did not challenge her Alpha. It was his prerogative to operate as he deemed appropriate, and the decision to bequeath it to his Heir was likewise at his discretion.

“You will return home on Friday,” Alpha Ronan had informed her.

“My flight is scheduled for Sunday afternoon.”

I am aware of your itinerary. “I approved it,” he remarked, “Friday, Daisy.” I am sincere in my statement. I will terminate your contract, all of them.

“Affirmative, Alpha.” She inclined her head in deference.

It was now Friday, and she was merely an hour and a half away from the pack. Although there was no urgent necessity, as I technically had until midnight to arrive, I sensed that this would not be favourably received by Alpha Ronan. Thus, I was prepared to depart. The pack’s movers were scheduled to arrive shortly, despite it being only 10 am. They informed her that they were merely 10 minutes distant. Her carry-on suitcase for the Sunday flight was positioned by the door, accompanied by her handbag, with her passport and tickets securely stored in the front pocket.
