Rapped once more and vocalised her name. None. Placed his hand on the door handle and rotated the doorknob. The door was unsecured.
Who neglects to secure a door when absent from their room? He peered inside, finding it empty. “Oh, she hasn’t gone over there already,” he thought, his anger escalating. He was aware that she had, infuriating woman acting according to her whims once more.
Caelan pivoted and descended from the first floor, traversing the pack-house.
“Caelan, dear.”
“Not now,” he growled at Lydia as he brushed past her and exited the pack-house, making his way to the un-mated apartments. He could already observe wolves engaging on the second floor; they had not even possessed the foresight to close the curtains. This is the reason she will not be permitted to remain here.
To his utter dismay, he observed Daisy on the fourth floor, resting against the balcony railing. Caelan’s heart nearly burst from his chest, beating erratically at the sight of her leaning on the railing.
“What are you doing?”He and Hudson shouted at the woman. She turned her head and gazed down at him, prompting Hudson to surge forward, utilising his Alpha speed, propelled by adrenaline, to swiftly reach her and remove her from the balcony.
They entered the room just as she declared her intention to accept the flat.
“You will not, Daisy,” escaped his lips before he could contemplate it, then Hudson seized her and they were pulling her away from the balcony and out of the building.
Upon returning to the pack-house, Caelan was indifferent to who observed him, fully aware that she was resisting his hold in an attempt to compel him to release her, thereby creating a disturbance.
He exhibited no concern as he dragged her through the pack-house front doors, past a visibly astonished Lydia, ascended to the first floor, and forcibly confined her to the room he had designated for her.
She seemed unaware of the reason for his anger towards her.
How was that feasible? He had explicitly instructed her not to be on the 4th floor with a balcony. How is it possible that she did not comprehend it? Enquiring about the reason for his anger provoked both him and Hudson to seethe with rage. It should be evident, he contemplated. He entered her room, pursued her across the space, and observed her retreating until she reached the wall. He was indifferent; he would express his thoughts to her unequivocally.
Pressed her against the wall and stated, “If you believe for even a moment.” I will permit you to reside outside this pack-house, Daisy. Your assertion is incorrect. You will remain in this room. I am aware of your location. “You do not possess a balcony,” he articulated with irritation, frustrated by the necessity of elucidating this to her. Caelan expressed indifference regarding her four-year residence on the third floor of a Seattle flat with a balcony. He was the Alpha now, not his progenitor. She intended to comply with his instructions, or he would compel her to do so.
Her declaration of intent to depart incensed him. Had he not just prevented her departure less than twelve hours prior, they had returned home, and now she was declaring her intention to leave him once more. He had previously informed her and subsequently had to reiterate that she was prohibited from leaving this pack. Seized her chin and leaned down closely. His gaze was fixed on hers, merely an inch apart. “I prohibit you from departing.”
“That is absurd.” You do not desire my presence here. It is evident that I irritate you excessively.
Indeed, she likely perceived him as irrational, and his current demeanour may have reinforced that impression; however, he possessed his justifiable motives. Regarding the desire for her absence? Had he not attempted, he virtually implored her to remain that day. She was significantly mistaken in that regard. He was not the one who desired her departure, and indeed, she did irritate him significantly. At every juncture, it appeared that she was unable to comply with a straightforward directive. It was not particularly difficult.
“Confront the situation.” Hudson advanced, their proximity was excessive, yet his wolf appeared unwilling to permit her departure, as both entities anticipated she would attempt to leave. Once more, he and his wolf reached a consensus on a matter. “I command you to reside in this room.” His presence emanated towards her, asserting his authority as the Alpha and ensuring she recognised the directive.
Her gasp and the exposure of her neck prompted Caelan to recognise that he was exerting excessive pressure on her. He had not intended to do that. Exited the room at maximum velocity. His anger had escalated uncontrollably. He had not intended to cause her pain. Currently, with his Aura. He had not intended for her to expose her neck to him in such a manner. “Damn it,” Caelan struck the wall before him.
He recognised that he and Hudson had pursued the matter excessively. At present, Hudson was irritated and displeased with himself. It would have adversely affected not only Daisy but also Amelia; Hudson was as dissatisfied with himself as Caelan is at this moment.
