The Alpha’s Possession – Chapter 33

Stationary

“Where is she located?””

The man declined with a shake of his head. “I understand why she is your former spouse.”

Although Caelan could detect the man’s fear, he appeared to be remarkably resilient.

“You will assist me, Mr. Garcia… or your attractive spouse will face consequences.” He left the implication unarticulated and fixed a pointed gaze upon him, confident that the man would comprehend the implicit threat directed at his wife. Caelan is unlikely to execute it.

I observed Micah’s jaw begin to twitch. “Leave my office,” he commanded sharply.

He appeared to be a formidable individual. Caelan appreciated the human, but that would not assist him. Caelan audibly laughed, stating, “That will not occur.”

He observed Micah Garcia as he retrieved the phone and summoned his security personnel. I heard Mason exhale; indeed, they were on the verge of confrontation, oblivious humans had no inkling. He raised an eyebrow at Micah Garcia and stood silently, awaiting the arrival of security. Both he and Mason appeared taller and broader-shouldered than the four men who entered the office shortly thereafter, attempting to remove them as their boss had instructed.

Caelan addressed Mason, stating, “I can handle this, boss.” He smiled and cracked his knuckles, subsequently subduing all four individuals within three minutes. He maintained his smile upon completion, exhibiting no signs of exertion.

Caelan directed his gaze towards Micah. “Do you have any additional tasks that require our attention?”

Micah observed his men, all incapacitated on the floor surrounding Mason, who appeared quite self-satisfied and prepared for further confrontation. He gazed at Caelan with a furrowed brow. My partner is capable of performing this indefinitely. “Now, Daisy.”

He inclined his head slightly.

Caelan was exasperated, obstinate individual. He inclined towards the desk. “Subsequently, arrange a dinner with her and inform me of the location.” He gazed intently into Micah’s eyes, permitting Hudson to ascend to the forefront, which Caelan understood would cause his inherently dark green eyes to radiate a vivid green.

Micah reclined in his chair, exuding an aura of fear among the men, as he and Hudson conversed, “Confirm your understanding.”

Micah ultimately acquiesced, stating, “I… I.. comprehend.

Caelan sensed Hudson’s departure. It was atypical for him to permit Hudson to interact with humans. However, it appeared that this individual required additional motivation. Caelan retrieved a pen from the man’s desk and presented it to him, stating, “Specify the time and location; document it to ensure her attendance.” If not, my partner and I will visit you privately.

Micah exhaled, grasped the pen, and inscribed a time of 7 PM along with the name of a restaurant. Presented it to him.

“Virtuous individual.” We will meet you at 7 o’clock. “If you choose not to attend or create any difficulties for me.” Caelan shifted his gaze to the photograph on the man’s desk and then returned it to Micah.

Observantly observed as Micah nodded, indicating he had comprehended the message.

Caelan turned, approached the door, halted, and glanced back at him. “I seek no conflict, only Daisy,” he declared plainly, before exiting the office alongside Mason.

“Did we enjoy that?””

“Simple task, humans,” he scoffed. “Enjoyable, merely a pastime for me.”

It was now merely a matter of waiting until 7 PM.

They were already present in the restaurant and observed when Micah and his wife entered. Neither appeared content. Caelan announced his presence and heard Micah declare, “‘She’s on her way now.”

“Satisfactory,” Caelan remarked succinctly before departing. In the distant corner and out of view, she would not be searching for them or attempting to detect any shifters, thus his location was acceptable.

He had an unconsumed bourbon before him when he observed her entering. Blinked in utter astonishment at her attire. Mason emitted a low whistle, prompting Hudson to internally snarl, desiring to strike the man, yet was prohibited from doing so. She was neither of their companions. At that moment, neither Hudson nor Mason had any claim to the woman’s rights.

Caelan’s gaze was drawn to her as she entered; her hair was loosely braided along the right side of her body, and her natural cinnamon brown hue complemented her dress impeccably. The garment conformed snugly to her ribs and accentuated her voluptuous figure, while the skirt flowed gracefully around her elongated legs. It was only then that he recognised her remarkable height; her legs appeared to extend indefinitely.

She smiled gently while walking, unaware of his presence or Mason’s search for them, seemingly oblivious to the fact that he had followed her here to retrieve her. Observed her as she approached Micah and took a seat.

He rose and walked to her table, overhearing Micah’s apology to her for what he anticipated would occur.

Observed her glance towards a visibly anxious woman, Micah’s attractive spouse.

He extended his hand and glided his fingers down her neck gently, leaning closer to rest his fingers on the scar from his own fangs while softly pressing his lips to her ear. “Daisy,” he heard her inhale sharply, “I believe you are meant to be at home.” At the location I specified.

Observed her light grey eyes fixate on him, her face merely an inch from his. She was quite astonished to see him, having certainly not anticipated his arrival for her. Foolish woman, she ought to have been more discerning.

“Caelan!”“

He remained in proximity to her. “Yes, Daisy, did you believe you could simply depart without consequence?” “Without my permission.” She continued to gaze at him, attempting to establish a mind-link, which connected effortlessly and immediately. “I am your Alpha now.” I believe I informed you that you would not be departing from the pack. They even welcomed you back home.

‘I.. I possess a contract with your father,” she replied hesitantly. Her heart was pulsating slightly more rapidly than usual. He did not sense fear in her, despite the absence of its odour. Intriguing.

Not anymore. He notified her, rose, and gazed down at her. “Please rise, Daisy; we shall be departing now,” he stated vocally.

“However, I…”

“No objections, Daisy,” he stated, and when she remained stationary, “I can issue a directive if you prefer,” he remarked nonchalantly, though he would follow through.
