She is likely to secure employment in Canada, as she is proficient in three languages and possesses a strong portfolio. It is hoped that she will discover something promptly. Her bank account had suffered a significant decline, necessitating the search for an affordable place to stay until she secured employment, after which she could obtain a modest flat.
Daisy inhaled deeply and disembarked from the aircraft upon its landing. Absence of pain. Grateful to the Goddess, I proceeded through customs and settled at Changi Airport, the world’s premier airport, to utilise its complimentary Wi-Fi for job searching and locating an affordable hotel for accommodation.
Seized the opportunity to explore while she was present. This location, this airport, epitomised a photographer’s ideal.
Amidst numerous locations and subjects to capture, she paused in the butterfly garden and surveyed her surroundings. She was captivated, unable to suppress her smile as she observed the butterflies fluttering, camera poised to capture images. Through her camera’s lens, she observed a woman with a smile, her hand elevated, and a butterfly perched on her thumb, gradually extending its wings. Captured multiple photographs. As the woman raised her hand to release it, another snapped; it was an excellent shot, radiating pure joy on her face.
Daisy apologised for disturbing the lady and presented her with the pictures. How could she possibly refrain? She appeared exceedingly joyful and vibrant. She was exceptionally photogenic, a remarkable woman. The woman, Hadley, introduced herself with a smile and addressed a man. He approached, and they all examined the photographs that Daisy had captured.
Daisy presented her business card and indicated that she had just arrived today; however, the suitcase she was dragging likely suggested to them that she was either arriving or departing, she surmised. Informed them that she was more than willing to email a copy of the pictures free of charge.
The man, Micah Garcia, CEO of Garcia Corporations, provided her with a business card and expressed his willingness to pay for the photographs. He requested that she email him tomorrow with a price, indicating his desire to acquire all of them.
Micah appeared somewhat astonished that she communicated in Mandarin. She smiled and informed him that she possessed a Master’s degree in Language and Linguistics and was proficient in three languages: Mandarin, French, and English. Secured his complete attention.
He began posing questions rapidly, assessing her, and she was aware of it. Daisy smiled and permitted him, responding to all his enquiries and even posing a few in return for amusement. After ten minutes, he chuckled, nodded to her, and remarked, “Well done.” She glanced at her card, which indicated her Art degree and included oil painting, watercolour painting, sketches, and photography.
Enquired whether she possessed one to complement her Master’s in Language and Linguistics. She retrieved it from her bag and handed it to him, advising him to contact her if he required her translation services, as she was actively seeking employment.
Observed the pair depart and proceeded on her route through the airport. This location was remarkable; I captured photographs in the Crystal Garden and the Enchanted Garden, and I wandered for several hours, captivated by the surroundings. This location was rightly regarded as the premier airport globally.
Daisy photographed various subjects, dedicated numerous hours to her endeavour, distributed several of her business cards to those she photographed, and deleted images of individuals who expressed discontent with her capturing their likeness, thereby demonstrating her respect for their preferences. Expressed remorse for exceeding her limitations.
She then reserved a room at the airport’s Crowne Plaza Hotel for the night prior to her departure to Canada tomorrow morning.
Caelan’s Perspective
He rigorously trained the boys this morning, running them a challenging 15 kilometres at his pace. He activated the sprinklers on the obstacle course prior to the run, transforming it into a treacherous mud pit, exceedingly slippery and difficult to navigate. Subsequently, he required them to complete the course twice, followed by an hour of hand-to-hand combat. His restraint was absent, necessitating their lack of restraint as well.
Instructed them for two and a half hours, followed by thirty minutes of swimming laps in the pool. Caelan sensed Mason’s gaze upon him as he emerged from the pool, yet he remained silent; they were all fatigued, including Caelan at that moment. Insufficient sleep and excessive exertion, yet he felt compelled to expel it from his system.
He typically did not exert such pressure on them, and they were aware of this; however, Caelan felt a compelling need to express his anger regarding Hudson’s actions. His accursed wolf remained exceedingly self-satisfied. Caelan was apprehensive that it would recur and was uncertain how to prevent it at this juncture. At that time, Hudson appeared to possess significantly greater control, as did Amelia. Recognised that sharing a room with Daisy could be detrimental, as their wolves could bond in both human and wolf forms.
Caelan had not yet conversed with his father regarding the contentious issue pertaining to Canada that she had referenced. When did that occur? He had not reviewed any contract pertaining to her trip to Canada or the duration of her absence. He had observed the previous two instances, one for educational purposes and the other for employment, thus they had received approval.
He bathed and changed attire, proceeded to his office, to attempt to resolve the matter. Opened her file and was taken aback by the newly attached photograph. She smiled joyfully; he recognised the dress. It was taken on Friday. She was smiling at the camera, radiating genuine happiness. Mason accepted it. He was unequivocal. It must have been, as she was smiling directly at the individual capturing the moment; she reserved such smiles exclusively for Mason.
