“Oh,” she gestured with her hand, “the instant he overturned his office desk upon realising you had departed for Canada.” “I completely overturned that desk,” she chuckled. “Nothing provokes an Alpha like the flight of his Mate,” she grinned. “I actually incited Ronan to such fury that he not only flipped his desk, but his wolf, Tucker, also lifted it and hurled it out the window.” “As the father, so the son.”
Daisy exhibited a smile. “What actions did you undertake?””
“I have kissed another.” I was unaware that he was my Mate, but he was cognisant of it. He reportedly became extremely angry, and they continue to mock him for it.
“Did you encounter difficulties?””
“I was bound to him for approximately a week, which was quite an intriguing week,” she winked at Daisy, appearing thoroughly entertained. It was the week preceding my 18th birthday, and the full moon was anticipated in just two days. “I utilised that tether to distance myself from boys,” she scoffed. “It didn’t prevent me from winking or making suggestive remarks to the other boys, which infuriated him, but I relished being reprimanded by him.” She erupted in laughter. It was an exceedingly enjoyable week for me. It seems that was not the case for him.” Daisy shook her head and chuckled softly.
“Well, dear, enough about me and Ronan; let us return to you, Caelan, and Kaiden.” What is your opinion?”
Daisy sighed; she was uncertain. Kaiden was an unfamiliar individual to her, and she had been unable to bring happiness to Caelan despite her efforts during that initial year. However, Luna stated that he had been aware for several weeks. She scowled; he had bonded with her merely a week prior, and he had been aware of her significance to him at that time. She was brutally tied up. That clarified her assumption and his assertion that he did not wish to retract it.
“What?”The Luna enquired abruptly.
“N… Nothing, do not concern yourself with it.”
“Disclose it, I am the Luna.”
“I doubt you wish to be informed,” she bit her lower lip.
“Ah, so you and Caelan have…”
“Goddess, how does everyone discern that? Is it evident on my countenance?””
Luna Elizabeth laughed, “No, it is not.” However, I am aware of your character; you are not inclined to engage in promiscuous behaviour, which restricts your choices. Please clarify, when might I enquire?”
“Last week, he was aware, but I was not.”
Once more, Luna chuckled, “Impudent offspring of mine, unable to restrain his paws.” Extremely mischievous. Shall I confront him on your behalf?”
Daisy scoffed, “No, not in your current state.”
“Oh, you will learn; this is the optimal time. It is impossible to be angry with you when you are with a puppy.” She smiled at her. “Now that you are feeling better, let us get you up and dressed.” We will have breakfast and subsequently visit both of your friends. All meetings with them will occur in my office or the private dining room.
“Very well,” and she experienced a slight improvement in her mood.
“We will establish definitive regulations to maintain their control.”
“You mean to refrain from killing one another.” Daisy sighed as she exited the bed.
Affirmative.
She anticipated it would be an arduous day.
Contemplated whether Luna had informed Ronan or Caelan of the joyous news regarding her puppy. Attired in a modest peach-hued summer dress and ballet flats. Exited her room to discover not only Luna Elizabeth awaiting her, but also Beta Ben and Alex, Caelan Gamma. She gazed from one individual to the other.
“It is acceptable; you will be accompanied at all times by a member from each of your Alpha Mate’s pack, a decision already concurred upon by both Caelan and Kaiden,” the Luna conveyed to her.
“Luna.” Alex inclined his head slightly, demonstrating his respect.
“She is not yet your Luna,” Beta Ben retorted, sounding exceedingly irate.
Daisy was previously mated to Caelan and is, and will always remain, a Luna-ranked wolf. Am I permitted to address her by her title at my discretion?”
Alex retorted with equal fury.
“Enough, boys,” Luna Elizabeth admonished them both, linking her arm with Daisy’s and escorting her to the second floor, where her office and breakfast awaited.
Daisy occupied Luna’s couch in her office, observing as Luna chastised AlphaKaiden for his misconduct and treatment of his Mate. His disregard for her other mate and disillusionment regarding his failure to honour the woman who may or may not select him as her mate. Confronted him regarding his violation of the agreement to refrain from marking her and to permit Daisy to make her own choices, asserting that such behaviour was unacceptable.
Upon her assertion that, were she Daisy, she would spurn him for his actions, Kaiden reacted unfavourably, snarling directly at her. This prompted Caelan to rise, but it was the formidable growl emitted by Amelia that captured everyone’s attention. Extremely loud and highly aggressive.
Amelia not only emerged swiftly, startling Daisy, but also positioned herself between Kaiden and the Luna. Amelia felt Luna Elizabeth’s hand on her shoulder, yet she remained resolute. Unbeknownst to everyone in the room, her Luna was pregnant, and any threat to her posed a danger to her unborn offspring.
Amelia appeared to reject the situation entirely; AlphaKaiden was fixated on her, his eyes exceedingly wide. Even Daisy could sense the intense heat emanating from her, as her anger simmered within her like white-hot flames.
“Remain composed, dear; I am capable of managing an Alpha, as I am bonded to one myself.”
“Back off,” Amelia growled at Alpha Kaiden, indifferent to the fact that he was one of her Mates. She disapproved of the threat he was presenting. He retreated. “Apologize,” she snarled in a low, menacing tone.
Observed his wolf, Loch, emerge, and she instinctively extended her claws, poised for confrontation. Daisy panicked; they possessed no combat experience. However, this did not appear to concern Amelia, who seemed to believe she could effortlessly eliminate him.
“Shh..” Caelan interjected, positioning himself directly between Amelia and Loch, who was now fully exposed and displeased by the danger she represented to him and his human counterpart.
Caelan extended his hands towards her, palms open in a non-threatening manner. “Please calm down, Amelia,” his voice was soft and gentle. “All is well.”
Amelia glared directly at him, emitting a growl in his direction.
“Silence.. “Mothers, please remain calm, Amelia.”
