The Alpha’s Possession – Chapter 183

Profound

Mason laughed at her, stating, “He is not throwing a tantrum.” He is merely inquisitive, yet he deemed it imprudent to come here personally. Hudson… he left it unarticulated.

“They must overcome it, Mason.” You informed me that he will locate his Mate tomorrow. What accounts for his continued behaviour?”

“Release it, Daisy; the man…” he gestured dismissively. “The occurrence of his wolf is improbable.” What was it about?”

She gazed at him and shook her head, reminding herself that within 24 hours he would be infatuated with another “It’s Canyon Art.” “Quite beautiful, I must say.”

What constitutes Canyon Art?”

“Mason, I recommend that if you or Caelan are unfamiliar with it, you inform him to search for it on Google.”

Mason exhaled, “Simply present Daisy to me.”

“Negative.” This is the inaugural gift I have ever received from a male individual. This is my enterprise. Am I also denied that privilege? She posed her question to him.

Observed him scowl directly at her now. It appeared he disapproved of her refusal. “Caelan is not apprehensive about it, Daisy; he is merely inquisitive.”

“It is my gift, and if I choose not to disclose it to our esteemed Alpha,” she remarked, laced with sarcasm, “then I am under no obligation to do so.”

Mason affirmed with a nod, “Indeed.” “Although you ought not to speak in that manner regarding your Alpha, Daisy, I am the Beta, and should I decide to report such disrespect, you will find yourself in his office facing consequences.” “He rose.”

I leave you to it. Regarding tomorrow.

I am attending the mating ball, Mason; I have never had the opportunity to experience one. If Caelan disapproves! He can impose an additional Alpha Order prohibiting my attendance. However, I can assure you that he will not appreciate the outcome he receives.

“Are you intimidating him, Daisy?”She discerned the disapproval in his tone and observed it on his visage.

“No, not at all.” She was indeed not, yet she could not reside here if he intended to actively obstruct her quest for her Mate and confine her in such a manner.

“What are you implying?””

“Precisely what I stated, Mason,” she replied with a shrug. She would depart, but at this moment, she could not step outside the pack’s territory without experiencing pain. However, she could address that by acting independently. If he intended to deny her everything, she would simply depart, as she now possessed the financial means to do so. However, she refrained from articulating that thought, as it would likely result in her confinement. The man had numerous concerns regarding her.

Mason exited her room with a scowl. He disapproved of her remark and its insufficient elaboration. She had not disclosed her thoughts on this matter to anyone, yet she could not endure perpetual confinement by him. It is preferable to depart. She could undoubtedly locate another pack; perhaps Alpha Kaiden would permit her to join his, or she might simply purchase a plane ticket to return to Ottawa. That would be pleasant.

Daisy reclined on her bed, contemplating the forthcoming events. It remained merely a matter of anticipation for the time being.

Caelan’s Perspective

Caelan was roaming in his Alpha Suite while Alex and Cole observed him.

He had dispatched Mason to investigate the gift from AlphaKaiden, which he preferred Daisy not to accept, to be candid. He disapproved of her accepting gifts from any man, yet he was unable to prevent her.

He could not assert his claim to her until tomorrow night, and as the full moon approached, his anxiety intensified. Their history was abysmal. Despite his awareness of his genuine desire for her, would she be willing to accept him again? Could he persuade her to grant him a second opportunity?

Caelan recognised that he needed to sit down and elucidate to her the reasons for his behaviour, a challenging task, particularly since he struggled to comprehend it himself. Those urges he experienced to inflict harm upon her. He was unable to elucidate that, even to himself. He had been attempting to articulate it effectively for several days, yet nothing appeared satisfactory and merely resembled feeble justifications to him. It is likely that she would also reciprocate.

Alex was already aware of the situation. As the Gamma, he had begun to recognise the depth of his connection to Daisy. He entered Caelan’s office two days ago and directly confronted him, stating unequivocally to his face. Daisy is perplexed and discontented.

Caelan regarded him with a raised eyebrow. Only Mason possessed the definitive knowledge of the circumstances. His mother had mitigated her risks and successfully persuaded Daisy to undertake a Luna Duty on her behalf. To his astonishment, she had proceeded to accomplish it. This caused his mother to smile; she even embraced him. It was her method of validating her suspicions regarding his assumptions. He had overheard his mother refer to her as sweetheart, and Daisy appeared to have no objections to it whatsoever.

Is she?”had constituted his sole response to Alex.”

“Affirmative, now as the Luna.” She ought to be content, Caelan. You must resolve this matter.

“I cannot, not until the full moon,” Caelan responded, thereby confirming her role as the Luna.

“If you possess the knowledge, you ought to inform her.”

“She is not yet aware.” “Not until the full moon.”

“Do you believe that startling her is the most effective approach to manage her?”He had not been content.

“No,” Caelan explained to him. “I believe she has the right to identify her Mate independently.”

Alex was unable to contest his assertion. It was executed as it was intended. One could not simply approach and assert ownership of a she-wolf at any arbitrary moment. If they did not detect your scent, they would not trust you, and their wolf would undoubtedly reject you.

Although Amelia appeared content permitting Hudson to mate with her at his discretion, in both human and wolf forms, their mutual attraction remained evident.

Daisy, however, possessed the right to ascertain her Mate’s identity independently. He would need to persuade her to grant him a second opportunity, to demonstrate that he could be an improved individual this time. He recognised the necessity of redeeming himself.

He was certain it was an exceedingly long road. He understood that it would not be the customary enthusiastic “Mate” growled at him, nor would she leap into his arms. It is highly probable that she would merely remain stationary, gazing at him with a profound frown adorning her beautiful visage.

His behaviour over the past month, coupled with his apparent lack of surprise when Daisy tracked him down, suggested that he intended to allow her to discover him. She would come to realise that he was already aware she was his Mate.

Articulating that would also be unenjoyable.
