The Alpha’s Possession – Chapter 18

Unmated

“It is Amelia.” Hudson advanced swiftly to observe her as she galloped into the woods, proceeding southward towards the lake.

“Do not be foolish,” Caelan admonished him before turning away; it could not be Amelia, who was entirely silver with no black. “It is not her,” he informed Hudson.

Suddenly, Caelan realised that Hudson had taken full control and was sprinting down the pack house, breaking free from him the moment they exited, and he was pursuing her. Cease, Hudson. She is no longer your mate,’ he sensed Hudson aggressively driving him deeper into the recesses of his own consciousness. They had consistently been in conflict regarding this matter. It appeared that a decade had elapsed, yet their longstanding dispute remained unchanged.Caelan was exerting all his effort to wrest control from his wolf, yet he was far from victorious. His wolf observed Amelia as she frolicked, pursuing rabbits, sniffing, and digging, engaging in playful antics under the night sky, likely deprived of such freedom while residing in the city.

Caelan was abruptly intrigued by the timing of Daisy’s reunion with Amelia, who was indeed Amelia, yet the new marking along her back—a streak of darkened fur—was unfamiliar. Certainly did not possess that earlier. Amelia had been absent from Daisy for the past three months during her stay with them.

Hudson observed from afar as Amelia paused at the lake to drink before reclining and gazing at the sky. Caelan sensed Hudson’s attempt to communicate with her, a capability he once possessed, but could no longer achieve. Their bond and connection were compromised the day Daisy rejected him.

Approached her with an air of frustration, desiring to draw nearer and attempt once more. Amelia turned and gazed directly at him; he observed that her eyes were distinct, green with a glimmer of silver, reminiscent of Daisy’s. They had undergone a transformation over the past decade. Amelia gestured with her tail towards Hudson and subsequently rose to her feet.

“Hudson, do not proceed with the action I suspect you are contemplating.”

“Curse you, Caelan,” his wolf retorted.

Caelan was vigorously struggling to regain control. His violent wolf was destined to mate with Amelia, and he was aware of it. Hudson could distinctly sense the excitement escalating at the prospect. “It will not be the same, Hudson, and she will disapprove,” he shouted at his wolf.

Hudson disregarded him while Amelia inclined her head in deference. Demonstrating reverence towards her Alpha Wolf.

I heard a somewhat anxious Daisy communicate through the mind-link, “Caelan, what are you doing?”‘

“It is not me,” he retorted. He was still attempting to exert control over Hudson, yet it appeared he possessed none whatsoever. Even in the midst of combat, he sensed Hudson exerting pressure to distance him further, in pursuit of his own dominance and objectives.

Hudson approached Amelia, inhaled her scent, positioned his nose near her genitalia, and to Caelan’s dismay, licked it. To his astonishment, Amelia offered no resistance as Hudson mounted her and commenced mating. Once it commenced, there was nothing he could do to alter it, nor had he experienced any success in attempting to restrain his wolf initially. Daisy seemed to lack control over Amelia at this juncture.

Their only course of action was to remain passive, observe, and endure the situation. Hudson was not being gentle with Amelia; he was mating with her intensely. Having abstained for a decade, he was seizing what he desired for an extended duration, and he was thoroughly relishing the experience. Caelan sensed it. The troublesome connection was also affecting him. Amelia acquiesced completely, making no attempt to distance herself from Hudson or extricate herself from beneath him, reminiscent of their previous encounters, allowing Hudson to mate with her until he was fulfilled.

Hudson exhibited no interest in Lydia’s alpha wolf, who was also an attractive specimen—black like Hudson, with a white underbelly and four white paws—but he had never once made physical contact with her. However, a mere glance at Amelia rendered him completely devoid of control.

Amelia reclined on the ground, while Hudson positioned himself beside her, his tail flicking gently, manifesting his satisfaction with both himself and Amelia’s tranquil demeanour. Caelan sensed that Hudson was aware he had fulfilled all of Amelia’s requirements, yet he would be willing to do so again shortly if she was amenable.

Hudson gazed at her, experiencing joy at her presence, appreciating the markings along her back that resembled moons. For all these years, Hudson believed that Amelia was irretrievably lost to him, as did Caelan. She was now present beside him. Precisely where Hudson desired her to be, it appeared.

‘Alpha, your partner. “I apologise,” he heard Daisy’s voice convey through the Mind-Link, sounding exceedingly contrite to his ears. He discerned that she was attributing blame to herself, despite it not being her fault. Entirely Hudson’s fault.

“Disregard it, Daisy.” He informed her that this would not impact Lydia in any manner, as she was not his Mate, contrary to Daisy’s belief. “Hudson’s dilemma, attempt to persuade her to depart,” he stated calmly. It was too late; he could not harbour anger towards Daisy regarding this matter, as he recognised it was not her fault.

All pack members were permitted to traverse the territory in wolf form at all times. She had committed no wrongdoing. “Before he mates with her again, which I believe he will,” he informed her of his wolf’s subsequent intentions, hoping that Amelia might regain some control. Hudson had not yet surrendered any. He appeared to maintain control while Amelia was present with him.

She reiterated her apology, referred to him as Alpha once more, and detested it.

He and Hudson observed Amelia rise and depart. Hudson trailed her back to the pack-house, not with the intention of mating again, but merely to observe her. He appeared to be vigilant for other unmated wolves. Safeguarding her. Given the presence of Hudsons accompanying her, any unmated wolves would be foolish to make an attempt.
