The Alpha’s Possession – Chapter 136

“Indeed, I am aware.” Mason sighed, reclined against the wall, and distanced her unclothed form slightly from him.

Cease…you are tormenting me, woman.

She smiled, then caressed his body, stimulating him before grasping him firmly, maintaining eye contact as he began to arouse, grinning at him before releasing her hold and exiting the shower. He recognised that the woman had patrol duty and could not afford to be tardy. However, her physical contact with him was an evident attempt to provoke his irritation. His needs extended beyond a brief s****l encounter.

Adjusted the water from hot to cold and shook it off; he may need to proceed to her bed tonight to ensure their mutual safety. Shut off the shower, dried himself, donned a pair of gym shorts to traverse the pack-house, and proceeded to his room to prepare for the day.

All individuals were awake and proceeding to the communal dining hall for breakfast.

“You alluring individual.” Ella smiled at him, her gaze traversing his largely unclothed physique as she descended the stairs he was ascending, then struck him firmly on his posterior, her fingers applying an additional squeeze. His response elicited a growl from both him and Lark, prompting her to laugh.

Cole was following her when a man struck her on the back of the head, prompting Mason to nearly retaliate with a punch to his face. The sole factor that halted him was overhearing Ella’s seemingly innocent remark to her brother.

“What?”Mason smiled to himself as he ascended the stairs, amused by the audacious woman.

That woman was destined to encounter more than she anticipated one day. Eventually, she would accomplish that, and they would be entirely alone, with her positioned beneath him. Hell clung to his face, imploring for more as he indulged in her for as long as he desired. Mason could consume something with such an intensely sweet aroma for hours. He would restrain her and perform oral s*x until she was reduced to a trembling, bloodied state on the floor.

Attired and present in Caelan’s office, he observed his Alpha engrossed in pack affairs, likely attempting to divert his thoughts from John and Daisy. He looked up at Mason, “You have missed training.”

Mason nodded, “I did. I had a more urgent matter to address.”

Caelan frowned at him; he had not assigned Mason any tasks, yet appeared to dismiss it entirely. I do not wish for Daisy to venture anywhere independently. She is now your responsibility.

“My occupation?”Mason enquired.

“Affirmative.” He dismissed Mason with a wave, resuming his packing activities.

Mason shook his head; the man was insane. If he desired her to be accompanied at all times or to be aware of her every action, why did he not simply have her remain in the office? He needed to isolate her mother for a conversation. That constituted his agenda for the remainder of the day. Or had been until now.

Exhaled audibly and exited the office to locate her. It was not difficult; she was dining with Ella and her companions.

His gaze met Ella’s momentarily, and she winked directly at him. The woman was unequivocally provoking the situation.

He escorted Daisy to the pack hospital for a check-up as requested by Dr. Maurice. She was now completely healed. Maurice positioned himself on a stool before her and examined Daisy’s neck. All her injuries were fully healed; he instructed her to perform vocal cord exercises, which included growling and snarling, while they both practiced speaking simultaneously. It was only then that Mason recognised he had never witnessed the two of them conversing in unison.

Maurice was content with everything, and Mason escorted her back to the pack-house, enquiring about her well-being. Only a few hours had elapsed since she had terminated her relationship with John; she appeared quite content in the company of Ella and her friends, he observed, laughing and engaging in jest.

She appeared to be entirely well and reiterated her apology to him for the incident that occurred yesterday. He prodded her. “Do not be concerned about it.” What are your plans for today?”

I intend to paint today, so I will probably remain in my room for a few days. “It will not create itself, you are aware.”

“May I view it now?””

“No,” she replied, shaking her head.

“What is the reason for not proceeding?””

“You are incapable of maintaining confidentiality,” she jested.

“Am I unable to?” I believe you will discover that I am capable.

“No,” she reiterated, shaking her head once more.

“You should secure your door, as I intend to glance inside,” he laughed. “Who placed the order?” I am aware that you have no new contracts.

“It is not your concern.”

“Oh, so it is like that, is it?””

“Indeed,” she smiled at him as they entered the pack house. “You can pretend to be the pack Beta,” she remarked playfully.

Mason scoffed, “I do not engage in pretence,” as he observed her ascend the stairs. Thus, the former Daisy reemerged. He shook his head, having recovered promptly, as usual.

He was unaware of how she accomplished it; she entered Caelan’s office while he was engaged in a business call, appearing entirely professional.

I sat down and retrieved Daisy’s contracts.

A few details required clarification before he could have Caelan approve them; in fact, he could do it himself. He had observed his father’s signature on one or two of her contracts in recent years, although he would need to obtain Caelan’s approval to proceed.

He raised his head as his acute hearing detected a voice he wished to engage with, exited the office for his own purposes, and nearly growled in frustration upon realising she was not alone. He immediately retreated, observing that she was dining casually with her entire family in the pack’s foyer.

She locked eyes with him and smiled, subsequently redirecting her focus to her family, thereby disregarding him. She was aware that he would not disclose her secret.

“Son,” Mason’s gaze shifted to his father, who was speaking to him. “What is your current state?” Your mother informed me of the events that transpired yesterday.

“Did she indeed?””

“Indeed, how is Daisy?””

I awoke in distress; Caelan and I terminated her connection to John last night, so I hope it will not recur.

“How did the girl manage that?”His father enquired, appearing notably apprehensive for her well-being.
