The Alpha’s Possession – Chapter 126

Caelan’s Perspective

Sitting and listening to Mason express his desire to submit to Daisy was unprecedented. He struggled to compel his own Beta to submit. The man was, after all, of royal lineage. The inquiry pertained to the nature of her lineage. To learn that she had confronted him, traversing his Aura with apparent ease.

Caelan pondered the extent of his previous actions towards her. Caelan had successfully compelled her bow to lower. He did not appreciate the recollections of it. However, even within the pack, he had compelled her to expose her neck on one occasion.

What led Mason to perceive her strength as superior to his? It was implausible; he must have been lenient with her, yet it was surprising to learn that she had become so incensed with him for visiting her father. Her challenge regarding the matter indicated her resolute intention to meet him. He believed they would need to monitor her closely or escort her there under strict supervision, but he opposed this, as the man would undoubtedly manipulate her thoughts.

She adored him and would probably accept every statement he made, including the assertion that Caelan intended to murder her. Caelan was certain he would disclose it to her as well. Attempt to create a division between them by any means possible. Caelan endeavoured to avoid the girl, yet witnessing her partially unclothed the previous night had nearly overwhelmed him. A small bloodstained towel positioned before her, revealing her entire side and elongated legs for his observation.

However, it had been intended for Mason, not for him. She would voluntarily emerge from the bathroom partially unclothed for him. Caelan, smiling at him seductively, despised that moment; despite witnessing Mason retreat from her and avert his gaze from her near nudity, it remained directed towards him. Inapplicable to Caelan. She gazed at him in utter astonishment, having not anticipated his presence in her room.

Although she had not made any effort to conceal herself, she likely remained indifferent; he had previously observed her unclothed, albeit not as an adult woman. Hudson had been exceedingly eager to mate with her immediately. The sole factor enabling Caelan to retain any control over his wolf was Mason’s presence in the room. Both he and Hudson were aware of her probable significance to him.

Nonetheless, it did not quell the growl of disapproval emanating from his wolf regarding her readiness to be unclothed in the presence of someone other than him and Hudson. Advising her to dress was ineffective; she retorted that she slept unclothed, which did not particularly astonish him. Most wolves either did not run hot or exhibited minimal heat regulation at all times. Being unclothed was the most comfortable choice. Hudson was the individual who extricated Mason from that room. If they were unable to possess her, neither could he or Lark, for that matter.

He acknowledged his selfishness; he had consistently been a possessive and egocentric individual, and nothing had fundamentally altered in that regard.

According to the cell guard, she was attempting to visit her father after confronting Mason about that very issue, which irritated him. Mason, likewise, exuded palpable anger.

His once sweet little Daisy no longer appeared so endearing; now mature and defiant, her disregard for the request to respect her father’s and Mason’s wishes was evident. She resolved to disregard them.

Mason grasped her. Caelan was not fond of the manner in which he handled her; however, she retaliated assertively, stood her ground, and, to Caelan’s utter astonishment, launched an assault that successfully incapacitated him. He was unaware that she possessed knowledge of those manoeuvres. He intervened, lifted her away from his Beta, and restrained her against his body. She continued to struggle throughout, and the unexpected headbutt immediately provoked his Alpha Wolf into combat mode.

Mason anticipated that Hudson would assault her impulsively. Had extricated her from his embrace before Hudson could begin his assault on her. Confronted Hudson, asserting that Amelia was the sole factor that had preserved her. Had it not been for that, his wolf would likely have attempted to breach Mason to reach her.

Amelia had scoffed at them, seemingly entertained that he had retreated; it posed no threat to her. It was exceedingly peculiar. Mason had confronted her with hostility, and to his dismay, Amelia had lunged at the pack Beta, attempting to bite Mason’s face. He had scarcely evaded the situation.

Caelan unleashed his entire Aura upon them and declared that it was sufficient. Mason did not exhibit a significant reaction, but Amelia withdrew; however, he observed that Daisy neither exposed her neck to him nor showed any signs of distress. Remarkably peculiar.

He had shouted at her, unable to restrain himself. Hudson was poised to assault her; she could have perished at his hands. As John had stated. She resumed her entreaties to see her father.

He heard John laughing in his cell, followed by her calling for the man, to which he responded, “Let it all out, Daisy.” The man shouted back and then erupted into hysterical laughter. What should be released? They were positioned just outside the cells, and John could overhear all that was being articulated. All events, including Hudson’s involvement, had emerged, necessitating Mason to persuade his wolf against attacking her.

What was she expected to reveal? Mason was already pulling her away. Caelan was eager to confront the man for information, yet he recognised that the individual would provoke him, necessitating Mason’s presence to prevent him from resorting to lethal violence before obtaining the answers.

She abruptly departed, extricating herself from Mason’s grasp and racing towards the cells while calling for her father. Mason had fired at her before Caelan could react; she had been remarkably swift, and he had not anticipated it.

As she glided across the ground after Mason hurled her from the cells, he sensed a transformation the moment she rolled over; fury emanated from her. When she gazed up at Mason, her aura radiated with Alpha intensity, causing him to recoil in surprise.

When Amelia had shouted at Mason Caelan, nearly overwhelmed with panic, she was unaware of how to combat him and was no match for Mason; in fact, Caelan could scarcely manage the man and at times could not do so at all. She was explicitly provoking him to an Alpha duel, so to speak. He shouted, “No,” attempting to intervene; as the Alpha of the pack, he had the authority to halt the situation temporarily and address it subsequently.

Amelia was indifferent to his Aura. He uttered that single word without hesitation, his gaze immediately directed towards Joe. He observed the man acknowledge the challenge and experience a momentary conflict regarding it. As soon as she charged, he immediately lowered his defences, opting not to engage or defend himself.

The reckless fool intended to sacrifice himself to ensure her safety. “Joe,” he shouted to the man, attempting to rouse him from his stupor and compel him to defend himself. The man had not listened whatsoever. Caelan was in motion, attempting to reach her before she committed an irrevocable act.

When Belinda, Joe’s mother, unexpectedly positioned herself in front of her son, he had not perceived her presence, yet sensed her formidable aura, causing him to halt abruptly and kneel, his neck exposed to her, such was her overwhelming power. What else could he anticipate from a royal princess? “Stop,” she had uttered gently, not elevating her voice. He observed her raise a single hand in front of her to correspond with the word, and to his relief, Daisy retreated to avoid colliding with the woman, coming to a halt directly before her. She gazed up at her, seemingly entranced, unable to divert her eyes from the woman. “Enough, Daisy,” she said, reaching out to gently touch her face. “Calm down, my child,” she instructed, maintaining a soft tone. He sensed the moment Amelia and Daisy’s auras diminished, followed shortly by Belinda’s, while th

He observed Daisy attempting to articulate words but was unable to do so, after which she abruptly collapsed. Caelan quickly rose, but Belinda enveloped her in an embrace and gently directed her back to the ground. Caelan sighed softly as Belinda remarked, “I’ll return her to the pack-house,” before turning to Mason to enquire about his well-being.

Caelan observed her extend her hand towards her son. She had never before witnessed him approach death so closely. Not merely in combat, but today he was prepared to sacrifice his life for Daisy, and Caelan contemplated his mother’s true feelings regarding that decision. It was an action befitting a companion.
