The Alpha’s Possession – Chapter 124

Insane

All her resolve had dissipated, and she wept, “I merely wish to see him.”

“I declined, and I am resolute in my decision, Daisy,” he snapped at her before rising from her side and exiting her room. He slammed the door with such force that he heard the frame creak, then proceeded to the Alpha’s office, with Alex and Cole following closely behind.

His gaze had fixed upon Caelan. “We have an issue,” he said, turning to Cole. “Shut that door,” he snapped, and the man complied, exacerbated by the waves of his Aura emanating throughout the room.

“I have heard,” Caelan acknowledged.

Mason retorted sharply at the man, “But you did not observe.”

Caelan raised an eyebrow at him, and he understood that it was not merely the words, but the fact that when he spoke, his aura had directly confronted his own Alpha; Caelan could withstand it. Conversely, it was improbable that Alex and Cole would respond favourably. He shut his eyes and inhaled deeply several times to compose himself and regain his composure.

He apologised to both Gamma and Delta, who merely shrugged it off, appearing indifferent, although he was convinced they had both exposed their necks to him, an unfortunate consequence of his royal lineage. He attempted to maintain control over it.

He then stood and elucidated to Caelan what he had observed and how a part of him had yearned to prostrate himself before her and withdraw. Caelan gazed at him, visibly astonished, yet remained largely silent.

They examined her luminous eyes; however, it appeared that various shifter species possessed glowing eyes for reasons pertinent to their kind. Typically, these eyes only illuminated when employing abilities associated with their species, such as a siren whose eyes would radiate while utilising its siren call, but not at other times. The task was not completed swiftly.

He had even contacted Beta Jeremy to enquire about his mate and her luminous eyes, which illuminated at specific times, primarily when she exercised her ability to manipulate water. He laughed at the peak of ecstasy. He jested, at least he was aware of his ability to satisfy her. Mason responded with laughter and playful banter, expressing a hope that they would always radiate for you. This had induced hysterics in Jeremy, as if he believed it would never occur. However, it remains of no utility to him. He stated that he would converse with his grandmother. She possessed an abundance of knowledge. However, no responses had been received regarding that matter.

Merely hours later, the woman had openly defied him, clandestinely proceeding to the cells without utilising the front entrance or passing by the alpha office windows. Did she believe that he or Caelan would remain uninformed about it? Was she so consumed by her own objectives that she had overlooked the refusals from both him and her Alpha?

They observed her, positioned there imploring the guard, virtually beseeching him for entry. He remained resolute, an astute individual, presumably aware of the repercussions. He had also been the one to establish a mind link to inform them of her actions, yet she remained outside.

Mason intended to reprimand her severely, as it appeared she required it.

His anger emanated intensely, escalating further with each utterance of the word ‘father’ from her lips. Caelan remained silent, yet he sensed the man’s frustration at having to address the situation here.

Daisy seemed oblivious to their arrival; when his hand grasped her arm, she appeared startled to see him and attempted to extricate herself, exclaiming, “Let go,” in a sharp tone.

“No, we are departing.” He pulled her towards him, away from the guard and the cells. She had entrenched herself, prompting him to exert greater force, utilising some of Lark’s strength to compel her forward, resulting in her stumbling. “Move it,” he commanded.

“No,” she retorted vehemently, and to his chagrin, she struck the back of his knee, causing it to buckle and him to collapse. A snarl escaped him, directed at Lark for her aggression. His head rotated, and his gaze fixed upon her.

She was staring directly at him, and he still grasped her arm, not releasing it even after he had fallen. Upon his rising, she had unexpectedly confronted him.

I was unaware that she possessed the training or expertise to accomplish that. She pivoted and collided with him while exerting her full wolf strength to pull his arm, flipping him over her body and onto the ground, where she attempted to immobilise him with an arm bar technique.

She was exceedingly fortunate that their connection was as it was, or he would have decapitated her. Caelan’s intervention in lifting her off him was also beneficial. In her fury, she appeared to have overlooked that he was not solitary. That her own Alpha had been present at that location. Caelan’s arms encircled her, restraining her limbs and firmly securing her against his chest.

“Caution, Daisy; you are confronting the Beta,” he growled at her, disapproving of the disrespect she exhibited, just as Mason did.

“Remove yourself from me,” she shouted at Caelan as Mason rose from the ground.

“Calm down, and I will release you.” The man towered over her by approximately 8 inches, with her feet suspended above the ground. She was endeavouring to extricate herself, yet Caelan refused to release his grip.

Mason was directly observing her; her fists were clenched, and she was glaring at him, her piercing eyes illuminated with intensity. He observed Amelia’s abrupt emergence, and his eyes widened as he comprehended that she was poised to assault her own Alpha with her wolf.

Her head jerked back, and Mason heard Caelan’s snarl erupt as her head collided with his face. Mason seized her and forcibly extracted her from Caelan’s embrace, as his Alpha Wolf emerged in response to the assault on his form. “Stand down, Hudson,” he commanded, raising a hand towards the wolf, whose gaze was fixed on the girl.

This may indeed be what John referred to. He observed that Hudson had already unsheathed his claws. “Hudson, it’s Amelia,” he declared, projecting his Aura to capture the wolf’s attention. He could endure the impact if necessary. The creature appeared to comprehend his words, glanced between her and him, and then returned its gaze to her. Fortunately, after an irate snort, it withdrew and relinquished control to Caelan.

Who appeared equally displeased, to be candid. An audible snort, which he could only interpret as amusement, emanated from Amelia, who stood behind him. Mason confronted her, forcefully pressing her against the nearest tree by her shoulders, “Are you insane?”He shouted at her.
