Robert’s boyhood companion and subordinate.
I never envisioned encountering her in a nightclub. Initially, I perceived a stunning woman at the bar whom I wished to treat to drinks, unaware that she was the one. Reuniting with her is the least likely scenario I could conceive. The unfortunate girl, harshly spurned by her destined partner, remains as exquisite as ever. She radiates even more than during our last encounter at the gathering. Oh, Robert, I wish you could appreciate her inner beauty.
“You!”I was astonished to see her. I presented myself to her, and upon mentioning my association with Robert, she emanated a menacing aura that instilled fear in me. It terrified me. That formidable, lethal atmosphere is hers; how is this possible? How can a female devoid of a wolf instill fear in me?
I am not her adversary.
“Dear love, I harbour no animosity towards you!” I conveyed to her. I believe she intends to eliminate her lethal aura, yet it has intensified once more.
I attempted to understand her, but she despised me. I comprehend her. How can she place her faith in someone near her partner? She likely harbours animosity against me due to his actions, however I am distinct from him.
She instructed me to depart, and while leaving her presence, I encountered an enticing fragrance unmistakably belonging to my spouse.
“MATE!” my wolf snarls. My friend has arrived. I have awaited her for all these years. I must locate her.
I trace the aroma, which directs me to the women’s restroom.
“Oh my goodness, you are so blatant!” a female exclaimed.
“This is unfortunate. I arrived here without sufficient consideration.”
I awaited her emergence, although she did not appear. Is he absent? Where is she? I wish to avoid missing her once more. Where are you, friend?
I exited the bathroom and continued my hunt for her.
“Our companion must possess great beauty,” Red hissed. He is content even without having seen her yet.

I continued my quest for her when I detected her fragrance once more. I observed an exquisite young woman. Oh my deity. She captivated my heart.
“Companion!!!” “She has arrived!” Red exclaims.
She approached me. She exhibited a smile. She likely experienced the bond as well.
“Greetings!” she said, waving her hand.
I stood before her in silence, captivated by her beauty. She is exquisite, pure, and her voice enchants my soul.

“Mate! Red growls. He is emerging to assert his claim over her.

I am quite pleased with her remarks. I am not the sole individual who experiences the mate bond. We both perceive it.
“Indeed, I am your companion. My name is Donald. I hold the position of Beta within the Red Blood Pack,” I declare.
She fixed her gaze upon me. The affectionate glimmer in her eyes dissipated, replaced by animosity. What is occurring? What has transpired?

“You… you are the beta of that malevolent alpha who callously spurned my friend? Jessica’s mate, correct?” she enquired with disdain.
What! Will I lose my partner due to their influence? Will I lose my chosen one because of his poor behaviour towards her friend? Jessica remains distrustful of me. Will she permit her to accept me?
“I am merely his subordinate.” Kindly refrain from rejecting me. Rest assured, I am not akin to him. I implore her that I am distinct.
She chuckled at me before stating, “Mmmm! I never indicated that I was rejecting you, or did I?”
“I am apprehensive.” I assumed you would dismiss me due to his actions towards your friend, I responded.
“I am not rejecting you. I will not pass judgement on you due to your alpha’s actions towards Jessica. I will never deny the mate bond that exists between us,” she whispered. I am already attracted to you.
I encircle her waist with my hand. I perceive the connection between us. My body quivers at her touch upon my chest.
