Dr. Sophia – Chapter 230

Grown

The film had a great sense of rhythm, excelling in creating an eerie atmosphere. Sometimes, just a glance from the male lead was enough to send chills down one’s spine. Sophia, who rarely watched movies, found herself completely immersed.

Livinus also seldom watched films, let alone going to the cinema with a woman—something he had never done before.

In his youth, he hadn’t found the right person to accompany him, and as he matured, spending two-plus hours on a movie felt like an indulgence he couldn’t afford. He would occasionally watch films on flights but never enough to remember the feeling of sitting in a cinema.

The typical movie snacks of popcorn and soda weren’t part of their experience—neither of them drank soda due to their fitness routines. Sophia hadn’t bought any, but she did get a tub of popcorn.

She placed it between them, grabbed a kernel, and was about to eat it when she instead popped it into Livinus’s mouth. He raised his eyebrows, sat still, and simply opened his mouth, allowing her to feed him.

Throughout the movie, Sophia fed him while barely eating any herself.

As the movie ended, Livinus asked, “You’re not eating?”

“I don’t like popcorn.”

“A woman who can resist sweets is not to be trifled with.”

Sophia smiled. It wasn’t just about health—she genuinely didn’t enjoy sweet or junk food.

“So, don’t mess with me.”

Her remark was casual, but back at their residence, Livinus lifted her and carried her straight to the bathroom.

Despite her height, Sophia felt almost weightless in his arms. He placed her in a warm, prepared bathtub, and of course, soaking wasn’t the primary objective. When a man and a woman were alone, it seemed a waste not to take full advantage of their time together.

After being thoroughly exhausted by him, Sophia, still aching, protested when he approached her again. “Can’t we rest for a day? My legs are sore.”

Livinus raised an eyebrow. “In the bathtub, you don’t need your legs. Just move other parts.”

His deep voice sent shivers down her spine, leaving her body tingling.

Livinus was attentive, mindful of her condition, and took charge entirely, ensuring she felt nothing but pleasure.

Both of them were in excellent physical shape, which was a prerequisite for their active lifestyle.

Their compatibility led to frequent, passionate encounters—morning, evening, and even midday—without either of them feeling overstrained.

Over time, they grew more synchronized, often attempting challenging positions, their happiness soaring.

After a night of passion, Sophia slept soundly, thanks to the physical activity before bed. She occasionally prepared herbal tonics, which Livinus brewed for them to drink.

The combination of exercise and dietary supplements didn’t leave them drained; on the contrary, their health improved, even through the winter.

With the house renovations completed, Sophia realized staying at Livinus’s place indefinitely wasn’t ideal.

She needed to move back, lest the neighbors think they were living together.

The house had no odor, and all inspections came back clear. Sophia found it odd—how could a newly renovated home lack the typical chemical smells? It wasn’t until the designer explained that Livinus had reused materials from his old house for health reasons.

Touched by his thoughtfulness, Sophia prepared a tonic to thank him. Unexpectedly, it caused him to have a nosebleed, which only fueled more passion in the following days.

President Scott jokingly called it “fire reduction.”

All in all, their relationship was harmonious, with both acting as perfect lovers for each other.

They were compatible in bed, shared similar temperaments, and had no major lifestyle conflicts.

Livinus was flawless—he often gave her spending money and somehow ensured that all major luxury brands sent her their latest items.

Although Sophia didn’t necessarily need these gifts, she appreciated his gestures and never sent anything back.

She reciprocated by helping him with medical consultations for his friends and associates.

One day, Chloe and Nancy invited Sophia to attend a luxury car soirée.

The event, hosted by a high-end car dealership, was a glamorous gathering of wealthy and influential individuals. Both Chloe and Nancy owned cars from this brand, and since Livinus also had one, he transferred his invitation to Sophia.

The attendees were socialites and affluent individuals. Many greeted Chloe and Nancy warmly, eager to network.

The atmosphere was polite and sophisticated.

As they chatted, a woman in a white lace dress walked in, wearing white lace heels. Though she looked attractive, her noticeable baby bump gave away her pregnancy.

“She’s here?” Chloe frowned.

“Exactly! Why is Olivia here? This event’s standards are really dropping if just anyone can attend,” Nancy  added disdainfully.

Both turned to Sophia, who smiled and said, “Come on now. Olivia is the future daughter-in-law of the Scott family. Shouldn’t we be sucking up to her a little?”

“Sucking up? If she were really going to become the Scott family’s daughter-in-law, wouldn’t they have announced the wedding by now? Just look at how far along she is!”

Indeed, as winter progressed, Olivia’s belly had grown noticeably, but the lack of any mention of a wedding left her anxious.
