After the two-night, three-day seminar, Dylan sent Lola a message to meet in the evening.
– I’ll be waiting in the parking lot.
After work, Lola’s heart felt heavy as she headed to the parking lot the moment she received Dylan’s text.
She was troubled because she didn’t know what to say or where to start when she saw his face.
As she got closer to the parking lot, Lola’s heartbeat quickened.
He was a person with a sharp intuition and insight unique to an investigator. He would undoubtedly ask her why she had gone to the seminar without even consulting him.

As she pondered how to express her feelings, she found herself standing in front of his black sedan.
Taking a deep breath, Lola opened the passenger door.
“Dear, did you wait long…?”
She tried to speak as calmly as possible while getting into the passenger seat, but her voice trembled.
Had it really been a good idea to go to the seminar without telling him?

As she quietly stole glances at his profile while he drove, Lola turned her head to look out the window. But it wasn’t long before she had to turn her gaze away.
The sound of her phone notifications kept ringing.
Opening her bag, Lola took out her phone and quickly scanned the messages she had received.
The messages came in at one-minute intervals, and the person who had sent the most messages was Gia.
– Lola, where are you now?
– I heard you went to the seminar? Oh my! I just found out late.
– What on earth happened? Weren’t you supposed to go with Big Brother to try on wedding dresses that day?
– You’re not having any issues with Big Brother, are you?
After a while without any response from Lola, Gia called her directly.
At first hesitant, Lola slowly pressed the call button.
“Yeah, Gia.”
As soon as Lola answered, Gia hurriedly got to the point.
– Lola, I just heard Kent Hollis was looking for you. Did Professor Kent Hollis contact you?
“Uh? Kent was looking for me? Why? What’s going on?”
After saying that, Lola quickly glanced at Dylan, who was driving.
Was it because she brought up another man?

– Are you with Big Brother right now?
Since Lola didn’t answer clearly, Gia seemed to sense something was off.

– Lola, wait a minute. I heard there’s a hypnosis seminar in Upper Town in a few days? Are you going?
“I’m not sure yet. What about you?”
– I want to go, but I’m not sure how it will turn out. I heard it’s a four-night, five-day seminar? I’m not sure if my schedule will match.
As Gia sighed heavily, Lola also let out a sigh.

Even after finishing the call with Gia, Lola’s phone rang several more times.
There were calls from the junior residents below and also from her colleague, Teacher Becky.
It seemed like there were unusually many calls today.
