Lola, pulling the blanket up to her chin, peeked out and asked in a shaky voice.
“D-did I make some kind of mistake yesterday?”
Dylan, who had walked to the bathroom, turned back and approached Lola. He then leaned on the bed with both hands.
The sudden closeness made Lola hastily pull the blanket up. One corner of Dylan’s mouth lifted in a smirk.
“Why are you asking me? You should remember.”
She couldn’t think straight, feeling embarrassed by her state in just her underwear. So, there was no way she could remember.
Dylan poured out his next words to Lola, who had buried her face in the blanket.
“Do you really not remember what you did to me yesterday or what I said to you?”
What did I do?
What did I say?
The more she listened to his words, the more it felt like she had made a serious mistake, and Lola rolled her eyes in dread.
“It’s quite unfortunate that you don’t remember anything.”
Seeing her expression, Dylan clicked his tongue and muttered, then tried to walk toward the bathroom.
“Oh, dear.”
When Lola called out in a tiny voice, Dylan turned his head, looking at her as if to say, why, again?
“Where are my clothes?”
“Well, I was so busy taking care of you yesterday that I can’t remember. If I do, I’ll let you know.”
His teasing tone was infuriating.
But Lola couldn’t argue with him.
Not only did she lack the courage to do so, but no matter how hard she tried to recall, nothing came to mind.
What on earth had she done that he had to take care of her like that?
“Dear, then at least give me a gown or something….”
Feeling too embarrassed and shy in her nearly naked state, she suggested putting on some clothes to think things over.
“You and I have seen everything there is to see, so why are you so embarrassed?”
He only chose to say the most outrageous things.
Fearing that if she stayed like this, he would spill out some unspeakable words she couldn’t handle, Lola pulled the blanket over her head completely.
Dylan found her so cute that he felt like biting her.
Holding back a laugh that was about to burst out, he walked to the bathroom.
As the bathroom door opened and closed, Lola finally removed the blanket she had been hiding under.

Something fell to the floor. Looking down, she saw a gown. A smile crept onto Lola’s face.
He had initially acted like he wouldn’t help her with her request, but in the end, he had taken care of her like this.
No wonder she couldn’t help but like him more and more.
He seemed indifferent yet kind, sometimes teasing her in a playful but warm way, and he made her happy.
But what on earth had she done yesterday?
Returning to reality, the smile that had appeared on Lola’s lips vanished in an instant.
No matter how much she furrowed her brows and thought, no memories came to her.
However, one thing was clear.
Their first night together had been ruined.

“Lola.”
Lola stopped in her tracks, looking at Gia with a puzzled expression.
Gia, who had been concerned about the brother who called her yesterday asking about Lola, cautiously asked.
“Did something happen yesterday?”

Lola didn’t know why Gia was asking that, but yesterday had been a day filled with events.
She had met Aliza and had a fierce argument, had dinner with Dylan Eve, and drank together.
And then, she lost her memory of last night as if she had suffered from short-term amnesia due to the alcohol.
From what he said, it seemed she had made him quite uncomfortable.
Yet, he had kindly taken care of her hangover, considering his drunken girlfriend.

But Lola replied differently from the truth.
“Nothing happened. It was just an ordinary day.”
“Really?”
Gia still seemed concerned, especially since Lola took a long time to answer, but she didn’t press further.
“Oh my! Lola, those earrings are new, aren’t they?”
While standing at the station, Nurse Sasha excitedly pointed out the earrings hanging from Lola’s ears.
“By the way, Lola, did you wear earrings before?”
Nurse Sasha tilted her head in confusion.
Lola shyly touched her ear and smiled.
“Is it strange?”
“No, they’re really pretty. You should have worn them earlier.”
“They suit you well. They’re beautiful.”
Gia nodded vigorously in agreement with Nurse Sasha’s words.
“Lola, just tell me quietly. It’s nice to be in a relationship these days, right?”
Nurse Sasha’s mischievous question made Lola’s cheeks flush even more. Gia helped her out, not knowing what to do.
