“Why are you asking me that?”
Dylan looked at her in disbelief. Lola smiled faintly.
“What kind of wish are you going to write, Dear?”
“Well, I wonder what I should write?”
Seeing Dylan return her earlier words, Lola couldn’t help but roll her eyes.
“Why are you asking me that?”
Lola quickly turned her gaze away, mirroring Dylan’s earlier words.
“Goodness!”
After grumbling, Dylan furrowed his brow and fell into thought for a while before finally starting to move the pen. Lola also diligently began to write something.
After a while.
“I wrote this.”
Dylan showed Lola what he had written on the Post-it first.
[Please let me marry Lola quickly.]
The moment Lola saw the black letters written on the Post-it, her face turned bright red, and her heart raced.
“I wrote this.”
Lola hesitated and showed him her wish.
[Please let me have a beautiful love with Dear.]
A beautiful love…
A complex and confused light flickered in Dylan’s eyes as he quietly stared at the densely written words on the Post-it.

After having a late dinner at the buffet in the East Coast Building, Dylan took Lola to the hospital. As he parked the car, he curiously asked her.
“What is a beautiful love?”
At the sudden question, Lola thought for a moment before answering.
“It’s when your heart doesn’t hurt.”
“Your heart doesn’t hurt?”
Dylan didn’t immediately understand what Lola meant. Lola added a detailed explanation.
“When you see them, you feel good and happy, and when you don’t see them, you miss them and want to see them. I think that’s what beautiful love is.”
“Do you want to have that kind of love with me?”
“Yes.”
After a brief pause, Lola answered quietly. Dylan asked again.
“Let me ask one more thing. How do you feel when you’re with me?”
Before she could answer, her heart reacted first.
Thump! Thump!
After taking a deep breath, Lola opened her mouth.
“When I see Dear, my heart races, and when I don’t see you…”
“When you don’t see me?”
“When I don’t see you, I miss you. Goodbye.”
Feeling like she had expressed her feelings too honestly, Lola hurriedly opened the passenger door and got out.
Then what kind of feelings did Dylan have when he was with her?
In her nervousness, Lola realized she hadn’t asked him how he felt.

By the time Dylan returned home, it was already late. However, seeing his parents sitting at the dining table without sleeping, Dylan was puzzled.
“Dylan, come here and sit for a moment.”
Zach gestured to the seat across from him. Dylan approached and sat down cautiously, asking carefully.
“What’s going on?”
“Are you serious about Lola?”
“Hey, are you just grabbing any girl to marry because you don’t want to go on blind dates?”
As soon as Mariana finished speaking, Zach immediately asked.
“Do you not like Lola?”
Even under the persistent gaze directed at him, Dylan remained calm.
“I’m saying this because I like Lola, and I’m worried.”
“Hey, we’ve known Lola for a good 14 years. She’s Gia’s best friend and like a daughter to us.”
“Dylan, you didn’t even have any interest in Lola before.”
As soon as Mariana finished, Zach took over, and then Mariana’s barrage of questions followed.
“I’m serious. I’m dating her with the intention of marrying her. I didn’t have interest before, but a person’s thoughts and feelings can change at any time.”
Dylan quelled his parents’ doubts and anxieties with unwavering answers.
“It’s late. You should rest.”
After greeting Mariana and Zach, Dylan stood up and returned to his room.
Once inside, Dylan approached his desk without even changing his clothes. Suddenly, the words he exchanged with Lola earlier echoed in his ears.
“What is a beautiful love?”
“It’s when your heart doesn’t hurt.”
“Your heart doesn’t hurt?”
“When you see them, you feel good and happy, and when you don’t see them, you miss them and want to see them. I think that’s what beautiful love is.”
“How do you feel when you’re with me?”
“When I see Dear, my heart races, and when I don’t see you, I miss you.”
As her voice faded, the image of Lola, who had been nervous and shy when looking at him, flickered before his eyes.
His heart was racing, but this feeling, which he had never felt before, was rather unfamiliar and strange, leaving Dylan very confused.
He couldn’t define exactly what his feelings for her were.
It felt comfortable and nice to be together.
And it was fun.
When he didn’t see her, he became quite curious about her.
That was how Dylan felt at that moment.
