“Mmm…”
This kiss was completely different from their first. His hot, soft lips pushed their way in, brushing against her palate, stirring her mouth, and swallowing all her saliva.
It felt as if he was making up for all the kisses they hadn’t shared until now, as his lips plunged in repeatedly, fiercely, and without pause, leaving Lola with a chilling thought that she might suffocate and die like this.
“Mmm…”
A month into their relationship. This was their second kiss. Dylan knew that unlike the first short and gentle kiss, this one was rough and passionate.
Why was that?
He didn’t know the reason.
Was it to punish her for playing a prank on him? Or was it because he was enchanted by the beautiful seaside atmosphere? He couldn’t tell.
The seagulls flapped their wings and took off. Amid the sound of crashing waves, the kiss between the two continued for a long time.
And how long had it been?
Just when Lola could no longer breathe and was in unbearable pain, Dylan slowly pulled his lips away. Seeing her face pale as a sheet, he asked with concern.
“Are you okay?”
“Uh? What… should we do?”
“You don’t look okay.”
To be honest, she was not okay at all.
Her breathing was rapid, and her legs felt weak.
Yet, Lola tried to act nonchalant, as if nothing was wrong.
“Of course not. I’m really fine, so you don’t have to worry.”
But contrary to her words, as Lola stumbled, Dylan quickly grabbed her arm.
“If you’re not okay, you don’t have to insist. I can hold you or carry you.”
His low whisper, whether a joke or serious, reached her ears. Trying to hide her flushed face, Lola quickly lowered her head.
She thought this second kiss would leave a lasting impression. She had almost choked to death.
Thinking about it made her feel embarrassed and ridiculous, and she muttered without realizing it.
“Oh, how embarrassing!”
“What’s that?”
When he asked in confusion, Lola belatedly realized she had spoken to herself. However, she pretended to be oblivious and raised her head.
“Uh? What did I say?”
“You just said it was embarrassing.”
“Did I… say that?”
Her deliberately feigned ignorance made her look cute.
Dylan gazed at her quietly. The warmth of his gaze on her face felt hot and burdensome, causing Lola to twist her body slightly and escape from him.
Watching her walk away, holding her shoes, Dylan’s lips curved into a smooth line as he smiled.
“Lola, what are you doing going alone? We should go together.”
Dylan’s steps quickened as he closely followed her.

For lunch, they decided to eat seafood stew at a popular restaurant. After being seated by the window and ordering food, Dylan casually asked.
“What are you going to do in the afternoon?”
“What do you want to do, Dear?”
“Well, since we came to have fun, we should have fun, right?”
“Of course, we should.”
No need to say more. But what should they do for fun?
As Lola subtly avoided his gaze, fearing another question might come,
“Do you want to go boating?”
Dylan asked.
“Boating?”
“Have you ever been on a boat?”
“No.”
“Then let’s eat and go boating later.”
It had been a month since she started dating him, but Lola still felt like she was dreaming.
Thinking about it, there were so many firsts she experienced with him.
Kissing, traveling, shopping, watching movies, eating together, holding hands, and hugging…
Just a month ago, he was merely the older brother of her best friend. He was so outstanding and handsome that she felt he was too good for her to even dare to look at.
But now she was his girlfriend?
Lola still couldn’t believe it.
She felt she would never forget every moment spent with him.
After finishing lunch and heading to go boating, Lola quietly stole glances at his profile.
For some reason, Nia Aliza hadn’t come back to the hospital after that. Still, she couldn’t help but worry. However, the reason she hadn’t mentioned Nia even once was that she trusted Dylan.
Though the month they spent together was extremely short, Lola found herself liking him more and more. As a result, a desire to know more about him and fully possess him was stirring within her.
Arriving at the boating area, where a bright yellow tent was set up, they paid the fee, and the staff handed them life jackets. The two boarded a two-seater boat.
Though she felt a bit scared since it was her first time, she thought she would feel secure with Dylan, so she climbed aboard without hesitation.
Contrary to her worries about the waves being rough, the sea was calm. Occasionally, a motorboat patrolled for safety, creating foam and causing the water to ripple slightly.
