“I was worried that you and Dylan would worry.”

After Gia left and the hospital room door closed, Dylan sat down in the chair that Gia had been sitting in a moment ago.
Dylan’s breath poured down over the top of Lola’s head, which was lowered. Soon after, Lola’s shoulder was grabbed by a large hand.
“Why are you so stubborn?”

For some reason, tears flowed down Lola’s face at Dylan’s one word.
“You should have said something if you were hurt. Don’t you have a husband? Don’t you have a family?”

Dylan lifted her chin with his hand. Seeing Lola’s face, which was tear-stained like a child’s, Dylan’s eyebrows furrowed.
“What are you crying for, as if you’ve done something good?”

Lola bit her lip tightly because the tears kept flowing even though she tried to hold them back. Dylan’s long fingers gently brushed her lips.

Lola reached out and hugged his neck, pouring out all the emotions she had been suppressing.
“I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to see you again.”
He had already become such an important person to her. Lola realized even more desperately this time that she liked him more than she thought. Because his face was the first thing that came to her mind in that moment when she thought she might die.
“I was happy to see Dylan’s face again. I was grateful to be alive.”
“You’re really… such a fool.”
Dylan, who muttered in a sighing voice, patted her back.
“Dear, can’t we go home?” Lola asked cautiously, seeing Dylan’s expression soften a little. But as soon as he heard those words, Dylan’s face hardened instantly, and he was dumbfounded.
“What are you talking about?”
“I’m comfortable and happy at home. Being in the hospital room is stifling, and I don’t like it. I’ve already been in the hospital room for two days…”
Lola’s voice trailed off as Dylan looked at her with cold eyes. But soon, with a cheerful expression, she blurted out the next words.
“I really don’t hurt at all today. I rested and slept well at home. I slept so well when I was at home. As expected, home is comfortable and good.”
Dylan’s lips twisted into a mischievous smirk.
“Are you a doctor?”
