It had only been two days since he’d been home, but it felt like a long time.
She didn’t know how cold and stuffy it was to be in a hospital room as a patient.
Lola thought home was definitely more comfortable.
Perhaps it was because Dylan’s warm presence lingered throughout the house that she felt that way.
The areas where she had stitches in her back and shoulder throbbed and stung, but it was bearable compared to the day before and yesterday.
She had gotten plenty of sleep, so she felt good, and her physical condition seemed to have improved a bit.
Since Gia was working at the hospital today, Lola had asked Professor Kent for permission to rest at home.
Kent said she could rest until she was fully recovered, but Lola didn’t plan to take a long break.

Dylan cut her off as he approached her and quickly took off her apron. Then, he unbuttoned her blouse one by one.

Lola desperately grabbed Dylan’s hand to stop him, but she froze at the cold look in his eyes.
However, in contrast to his fierce expression, his touch was careful and tender.

Lola’s heart pounded fiercely as each button was unfastened.

Eventually, Dylan unbuttoned the blouse and pulled it halfway off. Lola squeezed her eyes shut. The multiple layers of gauze on her shoulder blurred his vision. Dylan’s pupils shook violently.

A sigh mixed with a groan escaped his lips.

Lola had no choice but to obey Dylan’s words.

Lola knew that once he found out, she couldn’t stop him.

“Gia, book a VIP room for me, and find out who Lola’s attending physician is. And find out who witnessed Lola being assaulted.”
Not long after the two arrived at the VIP room, Lola’s attending physician entered.
Dr. Otis from orthopedics glanced at Dylan, who was with Lola, before turning his gaze to her and asking the routine question.
“Ms. Lola, how are you feeling today?”
“I think I’m okay today.”
“What do you mean okay?”
Dylan, who was listening, burst out in anger at Lola’s nonchalant reply, causing Dr. Otis to flinch. Lola hung her head as if she had committed a sin.
Realizing belatedly that he had unconsciously expressed his emotions due to his impatience and anxiety, Dylan quickly regained his composure and asked, as if confirming,
