“Is your reason for divorcing Amaya related to her psychiatric treatment?”
Lola asked that question, wondering if Amaya had suffered a mental shock.
The man suddenly leaned forward and whispered,
“It’s all an act.”
“Pardon?”
“The psychiatric treatment is just an excuse, that’s what I mean.”
The man leaned back again, crossed his arms, and sat back.
“Doctor, you’re a psychiatrist, right?”
“Yes, I am.”
“As a psychiatrist, you can freely manipulate other people’s minds and thoughts, right? You’re also quite quick and effective at persuading people.”

Lola didn’t immediately grasp what the man was trying to say.
“Is there any way you could persuade Amaya?”
“What do you mean?”
“To get a divorce.”

“I’m asking you to talk to Amaya so that she can get a divorce quickly.”

Lola felt a creepy and chilling aura from Amaya, who was making a bizarre sound that was hard to tell whether she was laughing or crying. Her lips were so bitten that blood was flowing from her mouth.
Honestly, Lola was horrified and scared by the sight, but she couldn’t run away.

“I didn’t want to kill anyone either, but I have to live first, don’t I?”

Lola couldn’t understand.
Amaya was a woman she didn’t know at all, and she hadn’t done anything wrong to this woman.
But why did she say that Amaya could only live if she killed her?
