Andy had an expression as if he had found something interesting to watch, and Dylan raised one eyebrow slightly.
Nia smiled triumphantly as if she had caught something big.
“Oh my! So that’s how it looked in Lola’s eyes? Then why aren’t you dating Andy and dating Dylan instead? Are you perhaps thinking of switching to another man?”
It was an undeniably blatant question that was very unpleasant to hear.
Lola’s whole body trembled with shame. She had to clench her fists tightly in order not to lose her temper.
Even after that, her heart didn’t calm down easily, so after taking three or four deep breaths, Lola calmly responded.
“But what to do? Unfortunately, I met Dylan first. I got to know Dylan when I was in the first year of high school. Dylan and I have known each other for 14 years, Nia.”
Andy tapped Nia’s arm and whispered softly.
“You know Dylan’s sister, right? She’s best friends with Mrs. Gia.”
She was already in a bad mood after seeing Lola sitting affectionately with Dylan, and Andy’s words only fueled Nia’s anger.
Nia glared fiercely at Andy sitting next to her.
‘You clueless idiot! That’s why I don’t like you.’
Nia’s expression, with her face distorted beyond recognition, was full of such feelings.
“The more I met Dylan, the more I started to like him.”
Lola sat up straight in order not to show outwardly that she was trembling.
The atmosphere between the two women seemed very tense and strained, but Dylan had not yet intervened and was quietly watching Lola’s reaction.
Andy was fascinated.
Andy was honestly a little surprised when Lola defended him and said something to Nia earlier.
It would have been quite awkward for her to see him making a fool of himself, not knowing that Dylan and she were lovers at first, but Lola unexpectedly took his side.
Suddenly, Andy was puzzled and pointed his finger at the two women alternately, asking.
“But how do you two know each other so well?”
“I think it’s a small world. We somehow got to know each other through someone.”
Lola took a sip of water and then replied calmly.
That someone was Dylan, and Nia was no different from an enemy who was not at all welcome to her.
“Ah.”
Andy nodded.
Lola felt like she was about to suffocate and choke if she continued to sit in this place, facing Nia’s hateful face.
Lola gently touched Dylan’s arm. As Dylan turned his head to the side in puzzlement, Lola whispered softly.
“Dylan, I’m going to the restroom for a moment.”
“Okay.”
Andy was smiling as he watched the two people exchanging affectionate glances. However, Nia, who was in a bad mood, twisted her lips.
As Lola got up from her seat and walked towards the restroom, Nia quietly got up as well.

As soon as Lola entered the restroom, she first let out a long breath.
Her heart was still beating like crazy. It was an unconscious conditioned response to seeing Nia still interested in Dylan.
Lola turned on the water in the sink and washed her hands, calmly calming her agitated heart.
And when she had calmed down to some extent, she turned off the water and pulled out a tissue to wipe her hands, when she heard the sound of heels, click-clack, that was particularly irritating.
Soon after, a sharp yet haughty voice rang in her ears.
“You were really trying hard earlier.”
It was too abrupt as the first thing Nia said out of the blue.
But was this woman a stalker?
It was clear that they would be uncomfortable if they saw each other’s faces, but she wondered if there was a need to follow her all the way into the restroom.
Lola couldn’t understand Nia’s true intentions at all.
“Do you know what? Lola seems to be very sensitive and anxious whenever she sees me. Why is that? Is something not going well with Dylan?”
That’s not possible.
Dylan is so good to me.
She doesn’t even know me well.
Even though she thought that way inside, Lola’s anxiety still didn’t disappear.
“If the two people’s hearts are firm, there’s no need to be so anxious.”
Nia stood in front of the restroom sink, turned on the water, washed her hands, and continued to grumble.
She seemed to be deliberately trying to stir up Lola’s insides.
Dylan doesn’t even give Nia a single glance.
‘But why am I so anxious?’
She couldn’t figure out why she was so worried, so as she pondered, Nia’s next words solved Lola’s curiosity to some extent.
“I think I said this to Lola before. Look at where you’re going to lie down before stretching your legs! It’s all because Dylan is too much and doesn’t suit Lola, so you’re anxious.”
She had to retort firmly so that that hateful woman couldn’t dare to refute her.
However, because the words that stabbed her heart like an awl were not entirely unreasonable, Lola’s throat became blocked.
Soon after, Nia turned off the water, having finished washing her hands, turned her head to the side, looked at Lola, and made a fuss.
“Oh my! Lola, are you okay? What’s wrong with your face? You look so pale. Are you feeling unwell?”
The way she pretended to be worried, like a cat thinking about a mouse, seemed so disgusting.
Lola felt nauseous. Since she was no longer worth dealing with, Nia launched a final counterattack at Lola’s back as she was about to turn around.
“Lola gave me a good hint earlier. You get attached if you see each other often. Hmm… that seems like a pretty reasonable thing to say. So, I think I’ll start seeing Dylan more often from now on.”
