Indeed, as Lola had suspected, her ominous premonition was not wrong this time.
After finishing dinner,
“Rub my back for me.”
At Dylan’s sudden request, which sounded oddly suggestive, Lola’s face flushed.
She understood perfectly but still asked hesitantly for confirmation.
“S-so you want me to give you a bath… right now?”
“Ah~ so that’s what you call giving a bath.”
Dylan nodded as if he had just learned something new.
Was this man becoming increasingly strange and suggestive as time went on?
Or was his taste always a bit peculiar?
Lola couldn’t respond immediately.
Giving him a bath felt too awkward, embarrassing, and somehow dangerous.
As Lola hesitated to answer, Dylan’s eyes narrowed.
“Why? Don’t you want to?”
“Ah… it’s just…”
“I believe that couples are one in heart. We should help each other to deepen our bond. I really need your help right now.”
After saying that, Dylan whispered in her ear.
“I’ll rub your back too.”
“I-I don’t need that.”
Startled, Lola jumped up from her seat to refuse. Dylan walked away to the bathroom on the first floor, smirking as if he found it amusing.
When Lola entered the bathroom, Dylan was already comfortably seated in a tub filled with bubbling water.
“Then I’ll be counting on you.”
“Ah, okay.”
Even though his intentions didn’t seem simple at all, Lola couldn’t just refuse and storm out.
She had promised to do anything he wanted, so she felt trapped.
Lola rolled up the sleeves of her blouse and crouched behind him. She then applied body wash to a shower towel, lathered it, and slowly began to wash his back.
Even though it wasn’t her first time seeing his bare body, her heart still raced. As a result, she struggled to control the pressure of her hands. Dylan began to nitpick.
Whenever she applied too much pressure,
“Lola, if you rub too hard, it’ll hurt.”
Dylan nagged.
When she rubbed gently,
“Lola, do you think that’ll clean me? Tsk…”
He even clicked his tongue.
Lola sighed multiple times as she rubbed his back.
If she couldn’t do it this way or that way, then what rhythm was she supposed to follow?
Whether he was doing it on purpose or not, his constant nitpicking annoyed her.
So, she held back the urge to slap his back with her palm, but suddenly Dylan turned around to face her.
“Oh my!”
Startled, Lola almost fell over.
Dylan said playfully, “I’ll need you to do the front too.”
Lola felt like she was going to lose her mind.
Washing his back was one thing, but this was a bit much.
Feeling incredibly awkward, as she hesitated, Dylan took her hand and brought it to his chest.
As he inhaled sharply, his voice came from above her.
“If you’re going to do it, do it all the way. Why do you keep stopping? It’s not like you’re playing with a toy.”
The bathroom was filled with steam.
Lola felt the heat rising to her face. Afraid that she might run away, Dylan held her hand tightly and wouldn’t let go.
Slowly, deliberately.
Her hand moved from his chest towards the left side of his chest. Dylan watched leisurely, as if savoring the moment. Then, when Lola momentarily let her guard down, he suddenly lifted her and tossed her into the tub.
Bubbles fizzed, and the water splashed noisily.
“Ah, Dylan. Hah!”
Seeing Lola flail her arms in surprise and scream at the sudden turn of events, Dylan burst into laughter.
“You got your clothes all wet.”
“If my clothes are wet, I can just take them off. What’s the problem?”
Lola wiped the water off her face and glared at Dylan, feeling resentful, but she quickly had to avert her gaze.
His gaze was so intense that it felt like it would burn her.
But soon, Dylan grabbed her chin.
“What is it that I shouldn’t know?”
“……?”
Caught off guard by his sudden question, Lola blinked a couple of times, unable to comprehend.
“You sent me a strange text earlier.”
He never let anything slide without digging deeper.
Whenever he sensed even a hint of suspicion, he would relentlessly probe, just like a true investigator.
“Ah, that.”
“Yeah, that.”
“It’s nothing much.”
“Is that so? Lola, you seem to have a lot of secrets.”
His gaze was persistent and sharp, as if to say not to even think about brushing it off.
Still, Lola tried to maintain her composure.
“I’m not hiding anything from you.”
“Really?”
“Yes.”
When Lola answered positively, she suddenly wrapped her arms around Dylan’s neck. Her sudden display of affection startled him slightly.
“Thank you for always worrying about me, Dylan.”
Lola expressed her gratitude and pressed her lips against his.
“Thank you for the allowance, and I was glad you came home early today.”
She lightly kissed his lips again.
