She had to come home during rituals or holidays, but every time she slept there, she would inevitably have nightmares.

“Did you go somewhere with Father so early?”
“To the dawn market.”
“Oh.”
“Shall we walk a bit?”
“Yes, dear.”
Dylan gently wrapped his arm around Lola’s shoulder as they walked.
“Isn’t it cold?”
Lola shook her head and subtly asked.
“But what did you talk about with Father?”
“Curious?”

Lola nodded her head.

Dylan hesitated to speak freely, making Lola roll her eyes without realizing it.
He could be really annoying at times like this.
“He said he wants to marry you soon. He wants your daughter to be handed over to him quickly.”
When Lola didn’t react, Dylan narrowed his eyes.
“Oh! You don’t believe me. I’m serious.”

“I want to marry you right away, even tomorrow.”
Lola remained silent again. Dylan walked slowly to match her pace and opened his mouth again after a while.
“Lola.”
“Yes.”
“I will take good care of you.”
He didn’t specify how he would take care of her.
His honest feelings were that he wanted her to live comfortably by his side without having to worry about anyone else.
