“Dylan is warm.”
“Wow! I’m really curious about what Dylan looks like when he’s warm; it’s driving me crazy.”
Andy teased, expressing his curiosity.
As the men openly joked around, Lola felt increasingly uncomfortable and out of place. Moreover, every time she moved, she was conscious of her thighs being exposed or her cleavage showing, which was quite distracting.
“Phew!”
Every time Dylan’s sharp gaze landed on her exposed skin, Lola felt an inexplicable irritation and sighed.
“Dress properly. I really don’t like what you’re wearing today.”
Dylan whispered lowly as he took off his suit jacket and draped it over her shoulders. His words felt like a reprimand, causing Lola’s heart to race.
“Gia, aren’t you cold? Should I take off my jacket for you?”
Andy, who had noticed Dylan’s small gesture of putting the jacket on Lola, said playfully.
“No, thank you. I dressed like this on purpose to look pretty.”
Lola sometimes envied Gia’s courage. It was the same now. Even though Gia was wearing a dress that was even more revealing and close to being indecent, she seemed completely unfazed.
No, she was even bolder in showing off her figure.
As Lola lowered her head, lost in her thoughts,
“Shall we leave now?”

As Dylan and Lola both stood up, Tadeo jumped in surprise and asked anxiously.

When Dylan scolded her instead, her expression turned sulky.
“Gia, your brother is just like that. We’ve gotten used to it by now.”
At Tadeo’s grumbling remark, Andy nodded in agreement, and Frank looked like he was about to laugh.
“Gia, I’ll go ahead. You have fun with Nurse Sasha.”
As Lola said this, Gia swallowed her sigh and had no choice but to let go of her arm.
“Dylan, you rude guy!”
“He’s a pro at ruining the atmosphere.”
“Such a prickly guy!”
As Dylan left with Lola, their friends’ mixed complaints of disappointment followed behind them.

When they arrived at the parking lot, Dylan handed the car keys to the driver. Then, he sat next to Lola in the back seat, and he hadn’t said a word since.
Lola found the quiet space suffocating.
He could at least scold her or get angry.
When he kept his mouth shut and wore an unreadable expression, with cold eyes, Lola found herself instinctively shrinking away.
‘He must not like my outfit.’
She could feel his piercing gaze on her thighs, making her think that way.
So if he had any complaints, he should just say them outright.
‘It’s not like he’s making a silent protest that’s frustrating me.’
Even though she wanted to initiate a conversation, the chilly energy radiating from him made Lola lack the courage.
On top of that, his naturally timid personality made her extremely cautious, fearing she might say something wrong.
With all these worries, Lola found it hard to speak up.
Finally, when the car arrived at the hospital parking lot, Lola cautiously opened her mouth.
“Dear, I’ll get off now. Goodbye.”

Though she felt somewhat hurt, she tried to think generously and opened the back seat door to get out.

When Dylan called her name, Lola immediately turned to face him.
