Dylan was drinking tequila with Andy, Tadeo, and Frank.
Tonight, Xavier had said a caregiver would come to take care of him, so he had kept the four of them from entering the hospital room. This allowed the four men to gather together for a change.
To be honest, Dylan wished he could spend the night with Lola since he didn’t have to work late today, but she had said she had a gathering in the evening.
He barely held back from asking if she really had to go to her friends’ gathering and instead wished her a good time.
He was afraid he might seem petty otherwise.
Normally, he wouldn’t have come to a place like this even if someone asked him to drink, but without her, he felt somewhat bored, and his heart was restless.
He was quite flustered by this unfamiliar feeling he had never experienced before.
Unlike the usual times when he was quick to refuse, this time Dylan accepted readily, leaving his friends both pleased and surprised.
“But what’s Frank so focused on over there?”
As Frank sipped his drink absentmindedly while staring at the table across from them, Andy tilted his head in curiosity. Unable to contain his curiosity, Andy’s gaze shifted to the table across.
Andy’s face brightened instantly.
Three beautiful women, who looked as if they were in a flower garden, were sitting closely together, laughing, chatting, and taking selfies.
The women looked cute and fun. Moreover, they were wearing tight mini dresses that revealed their thighs, looking both sexy and elegant.
“They’re pretty. Cute too.”
Andy, who seemed to be enchanted by the beautiful women, was staring at them with his mouth agape, as if he were about to drool. Tadeo, who had been quietly drinking with Dylan, turned his head in curiosity, following Andy’s gaze.
“But that girl… she looks like someone we know.”
Tadeo, squinting his eyes and scanning the three women one by one, pointed at one of them with his finger.
“Who?”
Andy asked in a husky voice, widening his eyes again to carefully examine the women, and suddenly an astonished sound mixed with admiration escaped his lips.
“That girl is our professor’s primary physician, right? Amazing!”
“The girl next to her looks a bit like Gia.”
“Who? Gia? Gia Eve?”
Seeing Andy ask again as if confirming, Tadeo turned his gaze to Dylan, wondering if he had seen it wrong, but he was already getting up.
“Hey, hey! Dylan Eve, where are you going?”
Andy shouted in confusion, but Dylan was already striding toward the table across from them without answering.
‘How did Lola end up here?’
Just a moment ago, Dylan was uncertain even while listening to Andy’s words. But following their gaze, she found, as expected, that the very familiar figure was sitting at the table across from her.
Dylan couldn’t help but doubt her own eyes.
‘I heard they were having a gathering among friends.’
She never imagined they would hold a meeting in a place like this.
Lola was far from the type to enjoy drinking or nightlife, and seeing her here was a bit surprising.
Moreover, the outfit that revealed so much of her thighs was incredibly distracting.
If she had known this would happen, she should have stopped her from going to the gathering.

“I should go check it out too.”
