“Take a rest.”
Just as she turned to leave the hospital room, three men burst in with a knock.
They were Dylan’s friends.
Andy had a welcoming face, Tadeo was grinning mischievously, and only Frank had an indifferent expression.
“Dr., we meet again.”
Andy greeted Lola cheerfully and whispered lowly into Tadeo’s ear.
“Our professor’s attending physician. Isn’t she pretty? Just my type.”
Despite being Dylan’s friend, the way they looked at her made Lola feel uncomfortable, so she quickly tried to leave.
So, she nodded once and walked toward the hospital room door when,
“But Dr., do you have a boyfriend?”
Andy’s question from behind made Lola stop in her tracks.
After asking, Andy seemed a bit awkward, scratching his head and bowing his head in apology.
“Is it rude to ask something like this? I’m sorry if I’ve overstepped.”
“Is it rude to ask something like this? If it’s inappropriate, I apologize.”
The question about whether she had a boyfriend felt quite direct.
However, it was hard to retort against her polite demeanor.
Lola slowly turned her body to face Andy.
“It is rude to ask such a question. But…”
For some reason, it felt like her words were not yet finished.
All eyes filled with curiosity were focused on her.
“I can answer you. Yes, I have a boyfriend.”
“Ah!”
As her calm and resolute answer came back, a short sigh escaped Andy’s lips.
“Dr., that guy is usually a bit clueless. I’m sorry if he made you uncomfortable. I’ll apologize on his behalf.”
Xavier, who clicked his tongue at Andy, spoke to Lola with an apologetic tone. Lola smiled faintly, as if to say it was okay.
“It’s fine. If you’re curious, you can ask. Please take a break.”
After lightly nodding to Xavier, Lola left the hospital room without looking back.
“Wow!”
As the hospital room door closed, Tadeo exclaimed, Andy looked very disappointed, and Frank found it interesting.
“That female doctor was exactly my type. I should have asked what her boyfriend does.”
Andy’s words, filled with regret, made Frank mutter to himself that he was in big trouble.
I wondered what kind of expression Andy would make when he found out that woman was the one who would soon marry Dylan Eve.
“Tadeo, why can’t I meet a woman like that?”
Andy sighed bitterly, lamenting, and Tadeo responded coldly without a hint of sympathy.
“Because you’re a player?”
Andy scratched his head with his hand, still looking regretful. Xavier shook his head disapprovingly and scolded him.
“Andy still hasn’t gotten his act together. Are you still dating this girl and that girl?”
“Well, when I happen to meet a woman who fits my taste, she already has someone.”
“Not being able to settle down is a disease.”
“Is that so?”
Andy scratched the back of his head with an awkward expression.
“Professor, you need to eat soon.”
At Frank’s words, Tadeo finally snapped back to reality and placed the nutritional food he had brought on the table.
With that, the conversation about Lola came to a temporary halt.

When Dylan entered the hospital room, Tadeo reflexively turned his head and blurted out an irrelevant comment.
“Dylan, can I tell you something interesting?”
“Hey! Don’t!”
Andy, who was sitting next to Tadeo, seemed to have figured out what he was about to say and urgently stopped him. Frank looked amused, as if he had found an interesting spectacle after a long time.
Tadeo raised an eyebrow, wondering why the atmosphere was like this.
“Our professor has a primary doctor.”
As Tadeo suddenly mentioned Lola, Dylan’s expression turned cold in an instant. And that change was caught by Frank’s eyes.
“Hey! I told you not to!”
“I can’t help it if my mouth itches!”
The sight of two grown men bickering like children seemed very childish, but Xavier merely shook his head without intervening.
What can I say?
It was amusing to watch.
To be honest, hospital life felt like a prison without bars to Xavier.
His primary doctor was young, pretty, and had a warm personality, but regardless of that, the uncertainty of when he would be discharged made him feel lost.
If his students hadn’t visited him often, he might have gone crazy long ago.
“Why the primary doctor?”
Perhaps feeling impatient, Dylan asked sharply, urging for the rest of the story.
“Isn’t our professor’s primary doctor Andy’s type?”
“And?”
Dylan barely managed to suppress a growl that was about to escape and clenched his fist.
‘Did Andy hit on Lola?’
If that were the case, he vowed to hit him once with this fist.
“I clearly warned you not to say more.”
Andy glared, trying to intimidate, but Tadeo was not one to back down easily. Tadeo opened his lips.
