Shaking her head, Lola said no.
“Do you go to places like that?”
“I used to go to clubs occasionally before I got married, but I haven’t been able to go since. There’s no freedom. No time.”
Gia was a friend who was both similar and very different from Lola.
How should she put it?
She seemed like a woman who knew how to enjoy little moments of leisure.
Unlike Lola, who had been so busy living in the hospital, Gia managed to have a good time while being a very busy resident.
Lola had admired Gia more than once for that.

Thinking of it as a place to drink made her uneasy for some reason.

He wouldn’t want to go there.
Just as Lola was about to ask how he felt about such places, a small cough and a presence were heard nearby.
Both of them turned their heads toward the sound at the same time. Dressed in a neat suit, Dylan was striding toward the bench.
“Let’s talk later. I’ll go first.”
Gia hurriedly stood up and said in a small voice before walking away quickly. Lola also awkwardly got up from her seat.
As Dylan approached, he noticed Gia passing by without greeting him and couldn’t help but scold her.
“Don’t you greet people when you see them? You have no manners at all.”
“Hello. Is the prosecutor here? Are you dating well?”
At Gia’s silly joke, Dylan waved his hand dismissively.
“Enough. Just go.”
“See? You complain whether I greet you or not. I don’t know what kind of mood you’re in. What am I supposed to do to please you?”
“I don’t want to argue with you, so just go!”
With a huff, Gia turned to leave but suddenly looked back at Dylan and said something incomprehensible.
“I didn’t know you were that naughty.”
What kind of nonsense was that? A slight crease formed on Dylan’s forehead.
“It seems like you were in quite a hurry. Well, it’s not bad in the end.”
Gia left behind her ambiguous words, laughing as she walked toward the hospital building.
Dylan was left feeling bewildered.
‘If you’re going to talk, you should make it understandable.’
For a moment, he frowned at Gia’s cheeky behavior, but when he saw Lola standing with her hands clasped in front of her, his frown quickly disappeared.
“Did you come to see Professor Xavier?”
Lola approached the bench and asked as Dylan sat down.
“No, I came to see you.”
Even if it was just a compliment, it made her feel good, and Lola was pondering how to respond. When she didn’t react, Dylan interpreted it differently and showed his disappointment.
“You don’t believe me again.”
“Oh, no. It’s not that I don’t believe you.”
“Your expression says otherwise.”
What kind of expression do I have?
I was just hesitating about how to respond beautifully to Dylan’s words because I felt warm inside.
“I believe everything you say, even if you say it with red bean paste.”
As she moved closer to Dylan, Lola explained earnestly with gestures. Seeing her like that made Dylan smile unconsciously.
“Why are you explaining so much? Heh….”
Seeing him laugh again at the end of his sentence, Lola realized that she had fallen into his playful trap.
As she rolled her eyes at him, Dylan pulled her closer and made her sit on his lap.
Watching Lola’s various reactions was very entertaining, but he couldn’t keep playing around.
He had to return to the prosecutor’s office soon, and every passing minute felt precious.
And whenever he was with her, he always felt like time was too short.
“When are you free? When does the hospital have a day off?”
Lola tilted her head in confusion at his sudden question.
“Why do you ask?”
“I need to greet your parents.”
“Oh.”
The fact that he remembered and cared about that even amidst his busy schedule made Lola feel good.
“After greeting your parents and coming back….”
Dylan stopped speaking and gazed quietly at Lola.
His gaze was deep and serious.
“There’s always something going on at times like this, isn’t there?”
It felt like if she didn’t say something she couldn’t handle, a bombshell would drop.
As Lola vaguely guessed, Dylan’s lips finally parted again.
“Let’s go to the district office and register our marriage.”

When a man and a woman get married, registering their marriage is a necessary and natural step, but she had never thought about such things before.
However, this man was undoubtedly a meticulous planner.
Even though it wasn’t the first or second time, Lola couldn’t help but admire and be surprised by Dylan’s thorough way of handling things once again.
