As Lola pulled the passenger door handle to get out, her head tilted in confusion.
“O, dear. This is…?”
“It’s not like you’ve never been to a hotel before, so why are you surprised every time? It’s about time it became a habit, don’t you think?”
As he said, it was true that they had been to the hotel for three consecutive days up until today.
But a hotel isn’t just a place to sleep. Especially when an adult man and woman come together, it carries a different meaning.
Lola instinctively felt her face heat up and her heart race, knowing why they were at the hotel.
“I brought you here because you looked tired, and I thought it would be more comfortable to rest at a hotel than at the hospital.”
Dylan’s words were sincere, but Lola interpreted them differently.
Since they had to come to fit the dress today, they had just held hands and slept together yesterday, but tonight, it didn’t seem like he would simply let her sleep.
There must be some other intention behind it.
Men are all the same, and they’re all sly wolves.
Watching Lola, who was lost in thought and fiddling with her bag strap, Dylan added, “Since you worked hard today, I’ll give you a special service. You won’t be disappointed, so you can look forward to it.”
However, his vague and ambiguous words only made Lola’s imagination run wild.
Special, Service, Expectation.
The moment I heard those words embedded in his speech, I couldn’t help but think of a bizarre scene, though I couldn’t quite understand why.
I’m not a lewd person, nor am I particularly revealing.
As Lola was lost in her own thoughts, Dylan looked back at her with a puzzled expression.
“What are you doing? Aren’t you getting out?”
“Oh, yes.”
Gathering her scattered thoughts, Lola opened the passenger door and got out.
As soon as Dylan stepped out of the car, he took long strides and scooped Lola up into his arms.
“Oh, Dear.”
“I know how hard you worked today, so I’ll carry you all the way to the suite.”
“Dear, I can walk there by myself…”
Dylan cut her off with a “Shh!”
“This is part of the service I’m providing, so just enjoy it.”
His tone was low but firm.
Though it felt overwhelming to be carried in his arms, Lola couldn’t muster any further objections.
To avoid falling, she had to hold tightly onto his neck with both hands. However, it seemed she was gripping too hard, as Dylan gasped for air, coughing.
“Lola, if you hold me that tightly, I can’t breathe.”
“Ah! I-I’m sorry.”
Feeling foolish even to herself, Lola’s face turned bright red in an instant.
After a few seconds of silence, it seemed she had something to say, as she began to mumble. Gathering her courage, she quietly opened her mouth.
“Um… dear.”
“What?”
Lola still couldn’t grasp what Dylan meant by ‘special service.’
If her understanding was correct, wouldn’t it be better to give him a heads-up now?
“I’m… really tired today.”
“I know.”
“So, um, can we just sleep today?”
It wasn’t that she disliked making love with him, but she just wanted to sleep since she was so tired today.
But…
A smirk crept up one corner of Dylan’s mouth.
Was he displeased by what I said?
Or was he disappointed?
Lola couldn’t decipher the subtle change in his expression and watched him closely.
“If someone hears this, they’ll think I’m torturing you instead of letting you sleep. Didn’t we just sleep together yesterday?”
“W-Well, yes.”
“But?”
“So what I’m saying is, I’d like to just sleep today.”
Dylan tightened his grip around her waist and let out a short laugh.
Lola mumbled hesitantly.
“You said you’d give me special service today…”
“So you imagined something strange. You have an overactive imagination sometimes.”
Unable to handle him with words, Lola found herself wide-eyed without realizing it.
No, it was a mistake to momentarily forget that she was no match for him.
“Then what kind of service are you talking about?”
Trying not to indulge in any more strange thoughts, and out of curiosity, Lola couldn’t help but ask.
“If I tell you in advance, what’s the point? Even if you’re curious, just hold on.”
Dylan replied playfully.
When he didn’t speak so straightforwardly, it was truly infuriating.
Still, since she couldn’t figure out what he was really thinking, Lola sighed in frustration.
At times like this, she wished she could see inside his head.
It would be nice to have the ability to peer into his heart.
*****
“Lie down.”
As Lola emerged from the bathroom in her robe after showering, Dylan, sitting on the bed, uttered those first words.
When someone cuts straight to the point like that, it’s impossible not to imagine something strange.
Flustered, Lola blushed and asked a question that even she found absurd.
“Um, but dear, how should I lie down?”
Dylan muttered “Ah, ah,” and then asked a bit differently this time.
“Where does it hurt the most?”
Still unclear about his intentions, Lola couldn’t answer right away.
“Neck, shoulders, back, waist, legs… where does it hurt a lot?”
She wasn’t sure why he was asking, but now that she thought about it, her neck and shoulders did hurt, and everything seemed to ache.
“My neck hurts, and my shoulders hurt…”
“Then it’s better to lie on your stomach.”
“…?”
What is he planning to do next?
But, dear, I’m really very tired right now.
As she hesitated, unable to voice the words swelling in her heart, Dylan urged her.
“What are you hesitating for? Hurry up and lie down.”
Yet, Lola felt as if her feet were glued to the floor and wouldn’t budge. Perhaps he was impatient, as Dylan clicked his tongue and stood up, lifting her into his arms.
He then laid her down on the bed in a prone position.
