Alpha’s Betrayal – Chapter 22

Mistreated woman

If I were in your position, I would have carefully considered the repercussions before attempting to strike Alpha Jason’s future Luna. Jason’s growl resonated through the air, deterring Tony from engaging in an action that would undoubtedly result in his demise. Talia observed Jason leaning against the doorframe, with his wolf prominently displayed.

“Refrain from approaching her!” Jason emitted a growl.

Talia was apprehensive, observing his furious demeanour. Indeed, he referred to her as Luna solely for their performance, yet he appeared remarkably sincere. Jason resembled a monster, with Lamba evident on the surface.

His eyes resembled a fireball poised to engulf Tony whole. Lena was apprehensive of him. What prompted him to regard their performance with such seriousness? The sisters exchanged looks, and Lena hastened her brother’s departure before it was too late.

Unauthorised, Jason entered Talia’s chamber, his attention instantly captivated by her bed. She observed him take a deep breath. Her fragrance permeated every fibre of the room. What was the purpose of his arrival here? She had previously been too timid to reveal her unassuming bedroom to him. That was the reason she had accompanied him to Lena’s bedroom.

Having ascertained the precise details of her existence, she resolved to cease her concerns. Upon his return of gaze to her, she blushed and momentarily blinked. She had been observing him! She resumed packing her last possessions.

Jason saw that the ceiling of the room, similar to the inadequate bed, was in a lamentable condition. The mansion appeared eerie in the absence of light. He was unable to discern the contents of her suitcase, yet it seemed relatively compact. She was consuming little. He had already concluded that she was a mistreated woman in this household. Her mother and sister were the few individuals upon whom she could depend.

As she leaned over the bed, Jason’s attention was captivated by her b****t. She possessed a flawlessly round behind. Lamba internally seethed with longing. Jason instantly averted his gaze, only to notice a little white cat entering the room through Talia’s diminutive window.

Greetings! Talia abandoned her suitcase and hurried towards the cat. “What is the reason for your tardiness today, Cat?” She replenished the food dish, which she stored beneath her bed. Jason said Talia has the most exquisite and authentic grin. She was pleased to encounter the cat, which seemed to be a stray.

“You are no longer permitted to enter my room, Cat.”  “I will have Lena provide you with sustenance,” Talia remarked, absentmindedly grooming her white fur, completely oblivious to the male behind her who was scrutinising her closely.

She had been bestowing many kisses upon the cat’s silky head. Only Talia and Lena were aware of the cat and clandestinely provided her sustenance, as their group did not permit pets. They revered her.

“What is the reason for your call to her, Cat?”  Does she not possess a name? Jason queried. Talia redirected her look towards him, only to discover that he had been observing her. She diverted her gaze and flushed.

“She is unidentified,” she remarked while placing the cat down, let it to feed as she retrieved her baggage to exit the room. Did he perceive her as immature?

“What is the reason?” Jason enquired.

“Should I assign her a name, my attachment to her would significantly increase.”  “It is challenging to be separated from those you cherish,” Talia’s distress was evident in her tone. Before he could perceive her tears, Jason observed her averted gaze as she departed. She cast a final glance at the cat with melancholy. Talia would never have the opportunity to see her again.

Jason entered the living room, where she was embracing Luna, Mabel, and Lena. Tony glared at Talia with intense disdain, which she ignored, ultimately exacerbating his fury.

“Place her luggage in the vehicle,” Jason instructed. Upon hearing him, Talia turned to confront Jason. It was an indirect indication to her that it was time to depart. He overlooked her sorrowful demeanour, believing she had already begun to lament her choice.

Talia scrutinised his impassive, unfeeling visage before trailing behind him. She exited the packhouse door, which had sustained damage during the conflict.

“Hold on a moment!” Alpha Carter has finally made an appearance. Jason did not glance back, although Talia did. Did her father arrive to bid farewell?

Carter declared, standing directly before Talia, “You are no longer welcome in our pack due to your choice of spouse, who is our adversary.” He disregarded Luna Mabel’s appeal to refrain from cursing their daughter any further.

“My family and I sever all relationships and connections with you. “Accompany him now and do not anticipate returning,” he shouted. Out of the corner of his eye, Jason noticed Talia’s tear-filled eyes. He had anticipated that.

Carter was not the type of man to permit her departure without shouting and destroying all ties with him. Talia hurried to the car, her expression marked by displeasure, where Leo awaited her arrival. She entered the room and proceeded to weep.

She anticipated its arrival, yet she remained profoundly affected. She would never encounter her mother or sibling again. She refrained from glancing back at the packhouse. When Jason entered the car and occupied the seat adjacent to Talia. She turned her face away from his gaze, unwilling to reveal her emotions. Leo occupied the passenger seat.
