Alpha’s Betrayal – Chapter 11

His unwavering faith

She observed the Alpha rise from his seat to exit the packhouse, pausing solely to issue his final directive.

“For the Alpha and his family…” he paused for a few seconds before proceeding, “behead them all!” “

Talia and Lena experienced a sinking sensation in their stomachs. Her sister’s hand, which had obstructed her entry into the living room, became immobilised. They were to be executed by beheading in their presence. Talia observed the Alpha depart before she hurried within.

“Halt!” She approached the imposing male, violating the prohibition against appearing before her father. The members of the Sothis Star Pack were astonished upon witnessing the young female conversing with their Alpha, while Jason gradually turned to behold a 5’7″ striking figure. Talia’s rich brown eyes met his striking forest green eyes.

Jason intruded into the Sardinia Moon Pack territory following the interment of his cousin’s remains. He denied his adversaries the opportunity to defend themselves as he ruthlessly exterminated more than half of them. His uncle and his family endured unforeseen suffering inflicted by this group.

Years of hatred had been settled due to the folly of his ancestors. Jason pledged to eradicate the Sardinia Moon Pack to atone for his pack’s previous misstep. He ought to have eliminated this malevolent group from his path years prior.

However, it was not too late; Alpha Carter’s Gamma had been brutally murdered the instant Jason entered the packhouse. Luna Mabel rushed into the living room to find Tony behaving foolishly and growling at Jason.

Alpha Carter and his foolish son persisted in their vitriol, despite their awareness of defeat. Jason was absent for the negotiation. It was futile. He had triumphed in the battle and seized their domain; now he merely needed to eliminate the former Alpha. Carter rejected the notion that his son had raped and murdered Jason’s cousin.

His unwavering faith in his son’s education and upbringing proved to be his demise. He presumed that was an element of Jason’s scheme to eliminate them. They did not desire war but were assaulted. He persisted in defending his departed son and declined to acquiesce.

Luna Mabel urged her partner to relinquish pride and contemplate their offspring’s destiny, while Alpha Carter dismissed her completely. His heart was inundated with animosity.

He neglected the safety of his surviving children due to his preoccupation with defending his deceased son. She had anticipated that Jason would be an unpredictable male. It was highly probable that Jason’s men would search the packhouse. They would locate any concealed pack members and eliminate them.

If they did, it indicated that Mabel had failed to safeguard her daughters. Jason observed her distress. She feared that if he located her daughters, he would commit murder and r**e as an act of vengeance. She was unable to endure the anxiety.

Jason had no desire to engage with their familial conflicts or the feeble, insubstantial egos of the former Alpha and his son. Only two minutes had elapsed since he determined their fate due to their refusal to comply; he opted to execute them.

Engaging the injured and feeble was futile. They were simply squandering his precious time. Jason was poised to instruct his troops to assist the elderly Alpha to his feet when he detected an unexpectedly pleasant scent.

Amidst the cacophony and disputes surrounding him, he perceived the faintest sound diminishing. Disregarding the rationale for his presence and the existence of his adversaries, he glanced over his shoulder at the wall behind him. The delightful fragrance originated from that location.

What was it? No, the pertinent inquiry was, who was it? Behind him was merely a wall with a door, which he recognised was obscuring other elements. The heartbeat and scent of the person beyond the wall captivated his attention, although he opted to disregard it.

“Eliminate them all!” He commanded his wolves as he stood up from his seat. Perceiving that the individual’s heartbeat had accelerated as though it were on the verge of erupting from their chest. His statement had worried them. There was anxiety at the potential loss of the most significant individuals in one’s life.

“For the Alpha and his family…” he hesitated briefly, “execute them all!” “.”  He had been informed that the Alpha has just two sons; nonetheless, the individual concealed behind the wall was presumably a relative. Alpha Carter and his family audaciously fabricated falsehoods and concealed other relatives following the murder of his cousin. He was disinterested in discovering the identity of the individual concealed behind the wall or their intentions.

Following the murder of the Alpha’s family, if the perpetrator succeeded in concealing himself within the packhouse, they would ultimately perish when their pack ignited it. The delicacy of the individual’s scent indicated that she was a young female. Each member of the Sardinia Moon Pack was his opponent; this awareness sufficed for Jason to determine their destiny. They were required to follow his late cousin.

Cease!A fearful voice, one that had never uttered a sound before, suddenly entered his ears. Jason suddenly halted as the woman who had been concealed behind the wall decided to disclose her presence.

He perceived the discontent of his pack mates, who were vexed by the female’s intrusion. How audacious of her to elevate her voice towards their Alpha? How bold? The most devoted member of Jason’s pack aimed to assault the young female prior to getting a telepathic communication from Jason.
