You are my medicine…
You are my medicine…
You are my medicine…
Then Moore Audrey, overwhelmed, blurted out:
“Then you should stretch your face over for me to pinch!”
Thompson Miguel was stunned for a few seconds, savoring her words, then chuckled lightly:
“Alright!”
Then Moore Audrey watched in astonishment as Thompson Miguel raised her hand and placed it on his face, his dark eyes sparkling with amusement as he looked at her:
“Go ahead and pinch!”
Moore Audrey was so shocked that she dumbly followed his words and pinched the face beneath her hand.
The smooth and slightly cool sensation transmitted through her fingers to her brain, and Moore Audrey suddenly came to her senses, quickly retracting her hand.
She jumped back several steps, her face flushed as she glared at him:
“Thompson Miguel, you really have no shame!”
Thompson Miguel chuckled at her words, straightening his expression, raising an eyebrow, and a hint of mischief glimmered in his eyes:
“I have face paralysis…”
Moore Audrey: “…”
In the end, Moore Audrey fled back home, hiding behind the door, hearing him knock and say:
“I left your luggage at the door…”
After hiding inside for a few minutes, confirming there was no movement outside, she cautiously poked her head out like a little mouse, scanning the surroundings for any sign of the face-paralyzed boy.
Once she confirmed he was indeed gone, she let out a sigh of relief, patting her chest, reflecting on what had just happened, feeling both annoyed and embarrassed.
Today, she finally understood Thompson Miguel’s true nature; what face paralysis, what aloofness, he was clearly someone with no shame!!!
After standing at the door for a while to calm her emotions, just as she was about to move her luggage inside, Nash’s voice suddenly came from the entrance.
“Ah… Audrey is back?”
Moore Audrey glanced at him, then looked away, continuing to move her luggage.
Nash didn’t mind her eye roll, stepping forward to take her things inside.
Looking at the items in the house, he was surprised and curiously asked:
“How did you bring these back?”
Moore Audrey hesitated for a few seconds but still answered since Thompson Miguel had no shame.
“Just the classmate who helped send me back last time?”
Upon hearing this answer, Nash frowned:
“Who are you talking about?”
Moore Audrey expressionlessly looked up at him:
“The classmate who sent me back last time!”
Nash suddenly remembered to settle the score, snorted, stepped over the luggage at the door, took off his suit, and yanked off his tie:
“Moore Audrey, your guts are getting bigger and bigger!”
Moore Audrey didn’t back down; what was wrong with her having feelings for Thompson Miguel? But she hadn’t fallen in love early, so what was she afraid of?
She didn’t even glance at her brother, determined to move her luggage upstairs.
“You’re the one with guts! I only have human guts…”
Seeing the little girl had no intention of listening to him, Nash felt irritated, thinking Moore Audrey was going through a rebellious phase, and couldn’t help but let out a sound, his tone unusually stern:
“Moore Audrey!”
Moore Audrey frowned, turned to look at him, displeased:
“What do you want…”
Nash straightened up, his expression slightly cold as he looked at her, his tone gentle yet filled with an undeniable authority:
“You dare to travel with that boy, what’s there to be afraid of? Moore Audrey, I’m telling you, if you dare to date that boy early, I’ll break your legs!”
Upon hearing this, Moore Audrey’s hand, which was curling her hair, paused, suddenly feeling a surge of emotions; Nash had never been this fierce with her.
The little girl stood at the door, motionless, her head lowered.
Nash watched for a moment, suddenly realizing he might have been too harsh, his expression softened, just as he was about to soften his tone.
But at that moment, with a loud bang, the little girl kicked over the luggage at the door, cursing in frustration:
“Who the hell is in early love!!!”
After saying that, she dashed upstairs, slamming her bedroom door shut.
Nash paused, his brows furrowing again, his temper rising; hey, she was even going against him!
As soon as Moore Audrey returned home, she got into a quarrel with her older brother, leaving her in a very bad mood. After running back to her room, she buried her head in her pillow and shed a few tears, not expecting that she would eventually fall asleep.
When she woke up again, it was already dark outside, and the room was unlit, a pitch-black void.
The young girl sat on the bed, hugging her blanket, staring blankly for a while. Then she raised her hand to find her phone, turned on the flashlight, and got out of bed to turn on the lights.
She noticed that her luggage had been returned to her room at some point.
