“I couldn’t sleep…”
Mrs. Thompson suddenly had a look of understanding, patted him on the shoulder, and looked relieved:
“I understand…”
Thompson Miguel: “…” What do you understand?
Then he saw his mother stretching while walking into the kitchen, not forgetting to say:
“I understand it’s the turmoil of puberty… I heard that the little girl didn’t come back with you, right?”
Thompson Miguel looked at her, took a sip of water he had just taken from the refrigerator, and was then scolded by Mrs. Thompson:
“Drink cold water early in the morning!”

Then he turned and went back to his room. Mrs. Thompson stared at him blankly and shook her head to make breakfast.
Moore Audrey returned home after only five days in Zenethis City.
Of course, three days after that night, the little girl contacted Thompson Miguel again.
Before she came back, she had informed Moore Luis, but it seemed that Moore Luis had once again taken her mother away, and then her brother Nash was busy. After thinking it over, she decided to take a taxi home by herself.
However, when the little girl was struggling to drag her luggage out of the airport exit, someone suddenly grabbed her shoulder from behind.
Moore Audrey was startled and quickly turned around, slapping her hand away.
Her luggage fell to the ground with a thud, attracting the attention of people around.
“Thompson Miguel!!!”
Moore Audrey stared at the person in front of her, utterly astonished.
Then she seemed to feel the gazes of those around her, even the patrolling staff in the lobby were looking her way.
For a moment, Moore Audrey felt a bit flustered, awkwardly smiled at him, then turned to bend down to pick up her luggage.
Thompson Miguel helped her, and as Moore Audrey dragged her luggage outside, she tugged at his sleeve:
“Let’s talk outside…”
Thompson Miguel also didn’t like being watched, so he nodded.
She dragged her luggage outside, used her phone to call a taxi, told him, and then got back to the point, looking up at him:
“Why did you come over?”
Thompson Miguel looked at her:
“Didn’t you say your luggage was heavy?”
Moore Audrey was stunned for two seconds, suddenly remembering she had posted a status before she left.
Now looking at him, she felt a bit at a loss, only able to lower her head and stare at her toes, kicking the ground.
She raised her hand to tug at his shirt hem, softly and quietly thanking him:
“Thank you…”
Thompson Miguel’s brows relaxed a bit, but then he suddenly reached out to pinch her cheek, glancing around casually before retracting his hand:
“The car is here…”
Moore Audrey was shocked by his action, quickly looking up at him, only to see the boy’s back as he placed the luggage in the car.
Her eyes were not deceiving her, right? She wasn’t dreaming, right? She really encountered Thompson Miguel today, right???
He, he, he… actually pinched her cheek!!!
In a daze filled with surprise, Moore Audrey was ushered by Thompson Miguel into the car, and even when they reached home, she was reminded by Thompson Miguel to get out of the car.
As they were almost at her doorstep, the little girl suddenly remembered to settle the score:
“Thompson Miguel! You just pinched my cheek!”
Thompson Miguel turned around, raising his eyes, and saw the girl’s puffed-up face, which made him chuckle a bit.
He didn’t hide his laughter, loosened his grip on the luggage, took a couple of steps toward her, and suddenly bent down.
His handsome face suddenly enlarged, and Moore Audrey instinctively took a step back, her feigned fierceness fading.
Feeling she had regained her momentum, she looked up, meeting his gaze, which held a hint of a smile:
“Do you want to pinch me back?”
The laughter mixed in his words was quite evident.
Moore Audrey’s ears turned hot in an instant, her mind buzzing, but she still tried hard to maintain her composure:
“You, you, you… your face paralysis is fake, right?!”
The boy paused for a moment, then laughed lightly, and Moore Audrey only heard:
“That’s not true, the face paralysis is real… it’s just that you are my medicine…”
Moore Audrey’s eyes widened in shock, as if she had heard something unbelievable, her mind crazily repeating the half-sentence the boy had just said.
