Jade teased loudly from behind:
“Oh come on… I’m not that chatty…”
Moore Audrey had already sat down on the bed, glancing at her:
“Shut up, I need to call Moore Luis to let him know I’m safe!”
Jade shrugged and turned to organize her luggage.
After Moore Audrey finished her call to Moore Luis, she thought for a moment and then turned to Thompson Miguel in the chat interface, asking him when he planned to start having fun.
She then shared her own plans.
Although Thompson Miguel wasn’t particularly happy, Moore Audrey’s initiative to message him made him feel a bit better, and he raised his hand to reply.
Moore Audrey looked at his response and pondered for a moment before asking Jade if she wanted to go out.
Jade was engrossed in a game, shaking her head:
“Just call your Thompson Miguel to go with you… I want to play games with my idol!”
Moore Audrey looked at her helplessly; ever since her best friend met her idol and got his actual game ID, she felt neglected.
After saying goodbye to her, she tidied up and headed out.
She went next door to find Thompson Miguel, shared her current plans, and asked for his opinion.
Thompson Miguel listened to her thoughts and nodded without much hesitation.
Since they couldn’t explore far on the first day, the remaining time today would be spent exploring nearby places, which would be more convenient for their stay.
The two first visited a nearby supermarket to get their bearings, then headed to a nearby park.
After wandering around, they took a break, and Thompson Miguel went to the restroom.
Originally, the young girl was having a good time with him, but when he returned from the restroom, he saw a certain girl smiling sweetly at someone else, and he suddenly felt annoyed.
His already poker-faced expression became even more pronounced.
That faint sense of pressure reappeared.
Walking up to the girl, he felt like he was no longer Thompson Miguel:
“What are you chatting about?”
Moore Audrey’s eyes lit up when she saw Thompson Miguel return, sweetly saying:
“You’re back…”
Then, as if remembering something, she turned to the other person and said something before jumping in front of him:
“Let’s go… I just found out from that person that there’s a scenic area in the West District, and also some art over there…”
The girl rambled on about a bunch of things, and Thompson Miguel raised his right index finger, frowning slightly, interrupting her:
“You seem to have no guard up around others!”
Moore Audrey looked up at him in surprise, processing his words, and then weakly realized what the boy meant.
She shrank back a bit, saying:
“I… I just think there are more good people…”
Unexpectedly, Thompson Miguel looked down at her and lightly snorted, then said:
“Let’s go!”
Moore Audrey meekly followed beside him, pondering for a moment, and still obediently admitted her mistake to Thompson Miguel.
Thompson Miguel paused for a moment, turned to look at her, and seeing her dejected expression, felt a bit uncomfortable inside.
After thinking for a moment, he spoke:
“I heard the hotel’s top floor has a view of the entire Lumina City!”
Moore Audrey’s head shot up, her eyes brightening with excitement:
“Really…?”
Thompson Miguel fiddled with his index finger, wanting to pinch her cheek at her expression.
Like teasing a cat, once he made her happy, she would be completely healed.
With the prospect of a city view, Moore Audrey temporarily lost interest in everything else and instead checked the time on her phone, suggesting they go eat.
During this time, she also called Jade, who was still obsessed with her idol, to ask what she wanted to eat so she could bring it back.
Jade was in a hurry, so she quickly stated her choice and hung up.
This made Moore Audrey unable to help but complain a bit into the phone.
Then she suddenly remembered she needed to contact Seth, so she turned to Thompson Miguel and told him about it.
Thompson Miguel readily accepted.
The two went to eat, and after finishing their meal, they delivered Jade’s food back, reminding her to be careful alone before heading to the rooftop.
While in the elevator, Moore Audrey suddenly remembered something and turned to Thompson Miguel with a smile:
“Did you recommend this hotel because you knew its features?”
Thompson Miguel glanced at her, rare to show some happiness, lightly curling his lips and nodding.
Sure enough, Moore Audrey’s smile grew even wider.
