The next morning
Moore Audrey still got up and prepared breakfast at her usual time.
Originally, Audrey planned to eat out, but unfortunately, her father watched a news report last night saying that the breakfast stalls outside weren’t clean enough, so Moore Audrey had no choice but to stay home for breakfast.
After finishing breakfast, Audrey immediately grabbed her bag and headed to school.
On her way past the game center, she bumped into her best friend Jade, who had said she would cut ties with her last night.
Moore Audrey’s eyes lit up, and she quickly chased after her.
“Jade~”
Jade turned her head to glance at her, snorted lightly, and then turned back.
Moore Audrey understood; she was still angry!
Thinking for a moment, she smiled and walked beside Jade, casually saying:
“I have a cousin who seems to know, and he said he’s coming here next month for a concert, asking if I want tickets!”
Sure enough, Jade immediately abandoned her stance and exclaimed:
“I want! How could I not want! It’s my Tristan’s concert!!!”
As soon as she finished shouting, her gaze met Audrey’s eyes, which were slightly smiling.
Jade paused, coming back to her senses, a bit annoyed:
“You’re so bad, using my Tristan to tempt me~ Hmph!”
Moore Audrey laughed heartily, enthusiastically linking her arm with Jade’s:
“Come on~ I’ll have my cousin send me the tickets tomorrow~”
Jade shot her a glance, pretending to be aloof:
“Fine, in light of my Tristan, I’ll reluctantly continue to be friends with you!”
Moore Audrey smiled.
Tuesday morning, Moore Audrey was enduring a torturous math class followed by her beloved physical education class.
As soon as the pleasant bell rang, Moore Audrey couldn’t sit still, watching the math teacher fidgeting at the podium.
When the teacher announced the end of class, the little girl dashed out like a bird towards the playground.
Physical education class was usually relaxed; they started with a lap to warm up, followed by some preparatory activities, and then it was free activity time.
The sun was quite nice that day, and Audrey sat under a tree by the track with a friend, cooling off.
In a blink, she spotted Thompson Miguel running.
She realized that the top student of the grade also had a physical education class~
Then she made up her mind; just right, she had seen a new method before going to bed last night and could tell him about it.
However, Moore Audrey didn’t expect that if she didn’t go looking for the mountain, the mountain would come looking for her.
She became aware of Thompson Miguel standing in front of her entirely because her friend had a look of shock on her face.
Moore Audrey paused for a moment and took the initiative to greet the expressionless Thompson Miguel:
“Good morning, Thompson Miguel~”
Thompson Miguel nodded lightly, then suddenly asked, “Want to play badminton?”
Moore Audrey was taken aback, then smiled, “Sure~”
So she dragged her astonished friend along to the badminton court with Thompson Miguel.
Her friend poked her several times along the way, exchanging glances about how she knew the top student, the well-known, aloof, and serious Thompson Miguel.
Moore Audrey remained silent, seizing the opportunity while Thompson Miguel went to get the rackets to explain:
“I live in the same neighborhood as him…”
She then received her friend’s genuine envy.
Moore Audrey: “…” The halo of a study god benefits everyone.
After a few rounds of fierce competition with the study god, Moore Audrey conceded.
She gestured for a break.
Compared to her drenched in sweat, the study god still looked fresh and clean, filling the girl’s heart with jealousy.
But what Audrey didn’t know was that in the study god’s eyes, her slightly flushed face looked like a ripe red fruit… still making one want to take a bite.
His clear eyes were fixed on her, a glimmer of light shifting within, fingers gripping the racket rubbed together.
Why are there people in this world who look so damn soft, soft enough to make one want to take a bite?
But time was of the essence; they hadn’t rested for a few minutes when the physical education class ended.
Moore Audrey returned the racket to him, her mind recalling the new method she had thought of earlier, mentioning it to him as she ran towards the gathering line for their class.
