I anticipate our encounter in court and hope you and your company relish the forthcoming publicity.” He then exited the office. “Oh Ben.” He grinned from the threshold. “I trust your finances are boundless; mine undoubtedly are.” He then exited the office and gazed directly at her while she maintained the door ajar.
She exhaled audibly, shut the door to Ben’s office, and enquired, “Was that truly requisite?””
“Yes,” he remarked with a frown directed at her. “Let us proceed to retrieve your belongings.”
“What is your purpose for being here?”“She enquired of him.”
“I am present due to your presence.” You departed without my knowledge, utilising the children to conceal your departure.
“I did not,” she stated, proceeding ahead of him. “You wished to take them shopping; I merely acquiesced.”
“You possessed your own objectives, too.”
“Yes, I did,” she affirmed. “Hand that to me.” She retrieved the letter from him and proceeded to her office, stating, “I will not pursue legal action against him.” I will simply remit the payment.
“You could achieve that effortlessly.”
I will not initiate legal proceedings against Ben. The man employed me immediately after Law School, provided me with a position, and allowed me to retain it. That employment enabled me to nurture the children and finance all their necessities.
He remained silent thereafter, accompanying her to her office, observed her secretary, and sighed, contemplating the necessity of seeking new employment if a position was not secured for him here.

She purchased it independently with her own funds, transported it from her office, intended to return it to the pack, as she preferred her chair, which would be more comfy than the one utilised by Luna Darla.

They arrived ahead of time, benefiting from a favourable tailwind that enabled them to reach their destination 30 minutes earlier than anticipated. He summoned one of the warriors to ascertain their location and proceeded directly to them.
Macky’s voice resonated in his mind: “Aphla, I was Luna Ordered to retrieve Nora!”
The man’s response to his presence did not greatly astonish him; he was probably apprehensive of retribution.
