Subsequently, Maddis awakened and purred so audibly at her that it prompted Tyler to lift her head and yawn. Bella saw joy emanating from her wolf as she gazed at Luke and perceived her Mate purring for them. She subsequently reclined and shut her eyes again. Today, it was only her; Tyler appeared to be retiring for the night. She enjoyed seeing Luke attempt to calm his beast. He had informed her that Maddis enjoyed merely observing her, and he was correct at that moment. His magnificent green eyes glowed at her, flickering as Luke attempted to regain control, appearing to struggle in his efforts.
He understood her thoughts and then chuckled upon realising Tyler was asleep, appearing content with having fully satisfied her. He extended his hand to caress her, gliding over her hair, and blinked as Maddis moved in to kiss her softly and gently, asserting, ‘I will satisfy you as well; he shall have no say in the matter.’
“Maddis,” she said, “I am uncertain.”
I am devoted to Bella. “I will not harm you.” Subsequently, he vanished from her consciousness, and she observed Luke shaking his head.
“I apologize,” he whispered. She understood that he was expressing remorse for Maddis’s remarks, not his behaviour.
“It is acceptable.” She would not mention it in the presence of
all individuals.
“I do not wish to interrupt.” It was Alpha Philip. “However, I observe that your wolf is alert.”
Luke.
“Mm, and his initial thoughts are somewhat mischievous.” He affirmed.
“I understand.” Philip remarked with a smirk. “It is reassuring to witness your rapport; however, I harboured significant concerns, so I shall remain for a few days to ensure everything is satisfactory.”
“Remain for as long as you wish,” Luke informed him.
I shall proceed accordingly. I still wish to speak with Bella privately.
“Why solitary?”She enquired.
Mates may have contrasting emotions when apart from one another.

I will never separate Tyler from her Mate. She is enamoured with him, and I am certain that Maddis is fond of her. I believe it is unwise to provoke him with such ideas, since I have heard of his rage from several sources.

“No,” she interrupted. “That will not be discussed at this moment.” I have previously explained the reason; please respect it.
She observed him gazing directly at her and inferred that he disapproved of her tone; she also recognised that he had noticed her attempt to touch Maddis and how he had responded to it. He had ceased roaring and withdrawn. Probably reassured not just by her touch but also by her assurances that she would never usurp Tyler from him, which she truly would not.
Although it may need time for her, Luke, and her apprehensions to be alleviated, this morning had been entirely about him, and she sensed his desire for her, a feeling she had not truly experienced until now. Maddis had consistently been present during their time together. Advocating for his needs with Luke, but not today. This morning was distinct, and she felt altered, particularly about the man seated next her at this moment. She experienced less confusion while contemplating him.
“What you and your wolf experience may be distinctly different,” Alpha Philip remarked, scrutinising her with narrowed eyes, attempting to gauge her emotions or discern her thoughts. He was fortunate, she believed, that Tyler was asleep, since she recognised Tyler would have significant objections to his remarks. Primarily because they were accurate, although she was unaware of his intended course of action regarding it.
He was unable to compel her to reject Luke, and there was no circumstance under which Tyler would permit her to articulate those words, especially after finally returning to their pack and being Mated to the father of her offspring.
She rose before Tyler awakened and became irate; she did not wish for her wolf to exhibit her inclination to combat. Thank you for your consideration.
