Seeing Sarah’s lack of response, the owner’s face tightened as she scolded her. Her voice was loud, and several waitstaff in the restaurant turned to look.
Playing on the phone during work hours is indeed inappropriate, but in the restaurant industry, there’s no server who doesn’t play on their phone. When it’s not mealtime, it’s really quite idle; they can’t just stare at each other.
