A Betrayed Luna – Chapter 27

Two bouncers

Prior to entering the building, I donned a simple black masquerade mask and retrieved my outfit, proceeding directly to the changing room to replace my black top and pants with a revealing work uniform. We implemented weekly themes including nearly every kink, from full-body leather costumes to alluring schoolgirl uniforms. My maid uniform was a black bralette, a lacy black and white choker, a minimal black cloth that scarcely qualified as a skirt, and a little white apron. The ensemble was finalised with a garter belt, stockings, and heels, while I adjusted my cosmetics in the mirror. It was instances such as these when I truly appreciated the mask mandate.

Frustrated with my attire and mentally bracing myself to fend off inebriated individuals throughout the night, I exit the club hall, the music practically deafening. The Halitton was a dual-level nightclub featuring an upper tier with exclusive tables for esteemed clientele and private dance areas. The bottom deck comprises two bars, a stage for principal dancers, side stages for other exotic dancers, tables for patrons, and a spacious dance floor.

I observe Ron, the club owner, conversing with Ruben and an unfamiliar man in his office. His back is turned to me, obscuring his face; yet, from his seated position, I discerned he was tall and possessed a godlike physique, his muscles barely contained by his black t-shirt.

I guess this is Melina’s kid as I approach the bar.

The bouncers and security personnel were already assisting with the bar setup, transporting ice buckets and replenishing the beverages and mixers. The dancers are currently on stage, engaging in warm-up exercises and readying themselves for their performances.

Violeta, a waiter, exclaims with enthusiasm as she approaches me.

“Have you seen the individual that Ruben introduced yet?” she enquires, bouncing on her toes.

“No,” I respond with a grin at her infectious smile. “However, I understand he is truly a masterpiece.”

“He is a deity, Ricky. A deity!”

“Exercise caution,” I retort with a smirk. “Priscilla claimed priority.”

“However, he did not,” she smirks, readjusting her bralette and swaying her breasts.

I scoff and chuckle.

“Oh, simply await his appearance,” she jests. “You will be altering your undergarments. That man is exceptionally attractive!”

The lights fade, and the security personnel hastily unlock the doors. Two bouncers begin admitting individuals, and I eventually observe Ruben exiting Ron’s office en route to his station. Conversely, his pal remains in the office, executing documentation.

Violeta and I hurry to Ruben, forcefully placing our trays on the counter.

“Alright, Ruben, disclose the information,” Violeta insists. “Who is that attractive man you brought?”

Ruben exhibits a victorious smile. “Ladies, this is Jadi, the new security guard replacing Ryker.”

“Thus,” Violeta purrs, biting her bottom lip. “I could certainly lament that throughout the night.”

“You repulse me,” Ruben replies, while Violeta beams with delight.

“Introduce me,” Violeta implores, fluttering her eyelids at him. “Kindly!”

“I am unable to comply,” Ruben exhales. “He is mute, thus he is unable to introduce himself.”

“Oh my, a man who is incapable of responding or deceiving me!” Violeta exclaims once more. “Esteemed Lord, he is flawless!”

Ruben expresses his disdain and gestures for us to take orders from the arriving clients. I will be occupied for the next two hours, serving drinks and managing inappropriate clients who attempt to touch my bare thighs beneath my skirt.

A specific customer, whom I shall designate as Don Muller based on his appearance, solicits my services at the table.

“I apologise, sir. I am not a dancer,” I respond courteously. I found nothing objectionable about becoming a stripper. I was just not one of them. “I can replenish your beverage if you wish. Do you have a preferred poison?”

He encircles my wrist and draws me towards him, nearly causing me to fall onto his lap. “Ascend onto the table. I wish to observe the capabilities of your attractive posterior.”

After more than two years of employment at this nightclub, I had become accustomed to requests to dance.

“I am a waitress, sir,” I say with a grin, masking my wrath. “However, I would be delighted to refer to you as a dancer…”

“I commanded you to dance,” he bellows, thrusting me against the table.

Unexpectedly, a deep growl reverberates over the music, driving a chill down my spine. Don Muller releases my wrist and gazes at an object behind me, becoming abruptly sober and swallowing audibly. I quiver in terror. Throughout my life, I have only encountered one category of individual capable of producing a sound as ominous as that, characterised by their lunar worship and lupine form.

“I apologise, Miss,” Don Muller stammers, handing me some cash. “I misidentified you as a prostitute.”

The enigmatic individual behind me pushes by, and I recognise it as Jadi, Ruben’s acquaintance. He seizes Don Muller by the collar, forcibly propelling him towards the exit and physically expelling him. A multitude of individuals gasp and gaze at Jadi as he brushes off his hands while I suppress my emotions. As his hands reached passed me to seize Don Muller, our flesh momentarily made contact, and I experienced the indelible sparks I so feared.
