A breeze transports a recognisable aroma as I return to the house, causing the hairs on my neck to bristle.
Jimmy emits a loud growl as I finally identify the scent, and I pivot swiftly to witness the same French Alpha who accosted Bray last week now menacing my partner.
“It appears that someone must instruct this individual in proper etiquette,” he chuckles, his imposing physique overshadowing my petite companion and our child. “I will willingly volunteer.”
The spectacle is sufficient to incite Jimmy’s frenzy, as my wolf dominates, forcing me to observe his retribution. He alters his course mid-run, swiftly overtaking our companion and lunging for the foolish Alpha.
The Alpha is caught off guard when Jimmy restrains him on the ground but swiftly regains his composure, around my neck with his arms. Jimmy counterattacks by applying his weight onto him and rolling, as we engage in a wrestling match, while Ricky lifts Bray and retreats to safety. I successfully restrain the Alpha to the ground once more, as Jimmy exhibits his fangs and snaps his jaws at him.
Bray’s whimpers serve as a reminder that a youngster is observing, prompting me to restrain Jimmy’s fury to avoid further traumatising our puppy. Frustrated, Jimmy growls threateningly at the Alpha and retreats, continuing to display his teeth in anticipation of a potential assault from the Alpha. The Alpha rises swiftly, a lethal gleam in his eyes.
“You again,” he mutters, as Jimmy snarls in reply, adopting a protective position in front of Bray and Ricky. “Please move aside. My issue lies with the individual behind you, not with you.”
A malevolent grin forms on Jimmy’s lips as a thought occurs to him.
Jimmy… No… I caution him, yet he has resolutely decided to dismantle our barriers and establish a telepathic link with the Alpha.
“If you do not wish for me to remove your tongue, you ought to be cautious with your words in the presence of my partner and our child,” Jimmy growls.
He casts a sidelong glance at Ricky, scrutinising her from head to toe before redirecting his gaze to us and chuckling.
“She is not particularly attractive.”
“KNEEL,” says Jimmy, as a dark film envelops the Alpha’s eyes in compliance with his directive.
The Alpha silently kneels before me, extending his neck in submission.

Before I can utter another word, Jimmy pivots and elevates his leg, directing a spray of urine over the Alpha’s head. A startled cry emanates from Ricky, while young Bray chuckles behind her.
Oh, Dear Moon Goddess, I lament, as Jimmy shakes his leg to remove the final drop of urine from his p***s. You are astonishing!
“Who is the antagonist now?”Jimmy scoffs, striking the Alpha in the chest with his hind paw. “NOW SIT and WAIT.”
Jimmy goes to confront our astonished companion, nuzzling his head against her chest. Initially, Ricky gazes at us vacantly, but when Bray starts to caress my fur, she ultimately emerges from her stupor and buries her head in my neck.
“Thank you,” she whispers, her fingers clutching my fur.
Footsteps approach as Queen Josie and her Gamma advance towards us. Gamma Andrew erupts in laughter upon observing the urine-soaked Alpha, while Josie appears distinctly unamused. She restrains her comments and exhales wearily as she establishes a link.
“I presume there is a valid justification for your actions towards Benoit,” she states, her tone somewhat strained as she gestures towards the enraged Alpha.
“He menaced my companion,” Jimmy retorts. “And due to your guards’ negligence in patrolling the vicinity, I was compelled to take action myself!”
“While I am not obligated to provide explanations, I authorised Benoit to patrol the River Moon grounds,” Josie hisses, her fists tightly clenched at her sides. She pauses momentarily to inhale deeply and regain her composure, yet a trace of anger remains evident in her eyes. “We will discuss this later,” she states, shaking her head disapprovingly at me.
“I demand that the wolf be punished for this transgression against me, and I require it to be executed immediately!” Benoit, the youthful Alpha, growls. “When my father discovers this, he will-”
“That is sufficient from you, Benoit,” Josie admonishes, directing her attention towards us with a severe expression. “Depart,” she commands, as Benoit snarls in fury.
“Are you simply going to permit him to leave?” He exclaims, “Are you foolish?”
Gamma Andrew swiftly strikes Benoit in the jaw, incapacitating him and causing him to collapse to the ground.
“You should temper your anger before I retaliate,” he growls, while Benoit responds in French, spitting blood from his mouth.
“Proceed,” Josie states softly, her expression unsettlingly serene. “I will manage this.”
